English Scans from Naruto Databook 3: Madara, Hashirama, Izuna, Tobirama, and Hiruzen
From the databook:
Hashirama Senju:
• Would like to fight: Uchiha Madara
Madara Uchiha:
• Would like to fight: The top echelon of Konoha
#i haven’t seen anyone talk about Madara most wanting to fight the upper echelon of Konoha!!
#says a lot about Madara, implies that Madara wasn’t trying to just kill all of Konoha back when he attacked the village, he wanted to fight the people in power
#sasuke reaching the same logical conclusion as madara had that those in power in Shinobi government were corrupt and needed to be dealt with
In lights of @depressedhatakekakashi recent poll about "who would plan the most romantic date" and since I've only ever seen Kakashi's part posted, this is all the sensei's canon personality traits from the first databook page 160 written by Kishimoto XD
Just looked at some early data books and. I knew that sakura had been said to be a 'genjutsu type' before but I never like. understood that she was NOTABLY a cut above the other gennin in that regard lol. even team 8???? kishimoto give me your phone. what. like. they didn't even read a 3? they aren't even like…a little above average at it??? i think shino should learn genjutsu just because it would make him scarier and NO ONE would expect it.
I was just reading Sha no Sho, The Third Naruto Databook. Both Kakuzu and Hidan characters have their own pages here... but what got me laughing so hard is this page:
Quite innocent, right? Just some information about Hidan. But the last line...
Like, what are you trying to imply? Horse and ITS rider. My KakuHida heart can't handle it. Who's the horse, and who's the rider?
I low-key want to read a female Sasuke fanfic, but simultaneously, I also want to read a Naruto crossover with Devil May Cry that pro Sasuke that understand his character, and there is no Naruto and Sakura in the fanfic.
This very important the Uchiha clan were oppressed and were genocided
First we need to get this out the way Uchiha Clan were cooperative with village like most of the Uchihas approved a cease fire after Hashirama raised the offer the first time during the war states era, and during the third Hokage era Fugaku repeatedly convinced his clan to be more understanding and cooperate with the village’s leaders.
Now we got that out of the way The Uchiha Uchiha clan were unfairly discriminated against, both institutionally and socially. The discrimination against the Uchiha was very real and very dangerous to them – the fact that the government ordered them to be slaughtered in a horrific genocide should be enough to prove that.
On a government level, the Uchiha were pushed to the side of the village and forced to live in a compound set aside for them. This was unfair discrimination that took away some of the Uchiha’s freedom because they had lost the right to choose to live wherever they wanted in their own village. The Uchiha could now only live on a certain plot of land within the village while every other non-Uchiha villager had the freedom to live wherever they wanted in the village.
Forcing the Uchiha to the outskirts of the village was an intentional slight against the Uchiha’s ability to carry out their missions. As the police force, the Uchiha operated within the village to protect it and prevent crime. As such, their headquarters were originally strategically placed at the center of the village, which made the most sense since they needed to respond to incidents and disasters within in the village as quickly as possible. With the Uchiha headquarters at the village’s center, the Uchiha police force would be best placed to respond to any incident that arose within the village quickly. Yet despite the fact that the placement of the headquarters was strategic and sensibly placed in the center of the village, Danzo insisted on relocating the Uchiha police headquarters to the outskirts, even though it made no tactical sense. Since Danzo, a known racist against Uchiha, was the high-ranking government leader who had come up with the proposal, it was pretty obvious that Konoha was intentionally trying to slight the Uchiha. They were even willing to decrease safety protocols and potentially endanger their village just for a chance to discriminate against the Uchiha clan.
Then Hiruzen and Danzo cut the Uchiha police force’s budget by an entire 30% (Danzo originally tried to do 40%) when no other institution or organization in the Leaf village got budget cuts, which is basically the Leaf government’s way of saying that the Uchiha were unnecessary to the Leaf and that their work wasn’t appreciated or even needed. Basically it would send a clear signal to the Uchiha that their clan was expendable if necessary. Not a very reassuring sign for the already uneasy Uchiha.
Also, there were no clear laws and regulations in place about what the Uchiha police force’s jurisdiction was. A branch of the Anbu basically covered the same territory/jobs that the Uchiha police force did, so the Uchiha police force was increasingly rendered irrelevant or unnecessary as the Anbu gradually took over the police force’s jobs and jurisdiction, taking over all the more important missions. The unclear assigning of jurisdictions resulted in conflict between the Anbu and the police force, because the Anbu were basically taking over the jobs that were supposed to be handled by the Uchiha. Which further rendered the Uchiha as extraneous and expendable to the village.
Additionally, it’s implied that the Uchiha are in general overqualified for the police force and it limits their potential, power, and influence. I mean imagine if Sasuke, Shisui, or Obito had been stuck on the police force – it’s a waste of their talents when they would be far more useful elsewhere. It was stated that Konoha has a low crime rate and that was afterthe Uchiha massacre and the police force had been decimated, so Konoha didn’t need its strongest and most powerful ninja clan on jobs that lower level ninja could easily deal with when the Uchiha were better employed elsewhere. Fugaku thought that the Uchiha police force was a kind of dressed-up prison for the Uchiha that held them back from earning more affluence and recognition. After all, Fugaku’s dream was to become Hokage, but he felt that his position as police chief prevented him from ever achieving that dream. Itachi didn’t want to be on the police force because he knew it would limit his potential and career as a ninja. In short, the police force was not a good fit for a generally passionate, ambitious, and influential clan like the Uchiha.
And when disaster did strike, like in the Ninetails attack, instead of allowing the Uchiha to protect their homeland and do their jobs, Danzo ordered the Uchiha to stay back and refrain from helping, even though the Uchiha very much wanted to stop the Ninetails, and even though the Uchiha clan had the absolute best chance of stopping the Ninetails because of the Sharingan. Danzo’s orders put Fugaku in a politically difficult situation: refuse to follow orders and be seen as rebellious/untrustworthy or follow orders and be seen as suspicious. Fugaku chose to follow his superiors’ orders, although he was unhappy with it, and as a result his clan paid the price by being mistrusted by the entire village. So even when opportunities for the Uchiha to prove their loyalty arose, Danzo made sure that the Uchiha weren’t be able to take them by preventing them from doing their jobs.
By limiting the Uchiha this way, Konoha was purposefully decreasing the Uchiha’s clan role in the Leaf village, thereby sending a message loud and clear: they didn’t need the Uchiha, the Uchiha were expendable, and when push came to shove, the Uchiha clan was the most unnecessary component to the village and thus would be the first to go. It was a very alarming series of political move, and it’s no wonder that the Uchiha were alarmed and upset, likely fearful for their lives, and with good reason.
It also seemed like a slight against the Uchiha that Fugaku wasn’t appointed Hokage or even considered for the role after Minato’s death. Fugaku was powerful and had experience with being a leader; so I can’t think of any reason why he shouldn’t have been appointed or at least considered for Hokage aside from racial discrimination (clan discrimination, for those who don’t believe the Uchiha are a race). It made little sense that Fugaku wasn’t given the role of Hokage when he fit the qualifications for the job. Even Orochimaru was considered for the position before Fugaku. The village government gave no clear reasons why Fugaku, likely the strongest shinobi in the Leaf after Minato’s death, wasn’t appointed Hokage. I could see why the Uchiha were frustrated over that, especially when Hiruzen had stepped down from power after a 40-year dictatorship only to snap that power up again the instant Minato was dead, instead of reliquishing power to a new successor.
Additionally, while Hiruzen was Hokage in name, Danzo was more like the Hokage during the era when the discrimination against the Uchiha took place. The story doesn’t pull any punches in identifying Danzo as racist against the Uchiha. Hiruzen flat-out says that Danzo dislikes the Uchiha, and Danzo refers to the Uchiha as a “sorry clan” and notes that it’s unfortunate that Itachi came from such a terrible clan because otherwise he would have liked Itachi. So yeah, Danzo’s clearly racist. Danzo was essentially Konoha’s leader in about every way except name before and during the Uchiha massacre, so…yeah. It was not looking good for the Uchiha.
The Uchiha were being spied on and closely watched at all times. Anbu monitored the Uchiha every day, a serious privacy invasion and clear sign of the government’s discrimination and distrust towards the Uchiha, since no other clan or other part of the village was kept under constant surveillance. It was the government invading the clan’s privacy, since they were spying on regular civilians in their neighborhood. It’s not like the Uchiha were stupid and oblivious to the fact that they were under surveillance, Itachi and Fugaku both indicate that the Uchiha were fully aware that they were being kept under surveillance.
There were social barriers to the Uchiha as well. It is shown that Izumi and Itachi were bullied at school because the kids held their clan responsible for the Ninetails attack. After the Ninetails attack, the villagers viewed the Uchiha with distrust and contempt. The children probably got this idea from their parents, so the adults and children of the Leaf village distrusted the Uchiha and blamed the Ninetails attack on them, despite the Uchiha clan being innocent of the incident.
When Fugaku attended a meeting involving the clan leaders and Danzo, Hiruzen, the village elders, and other officials right after the Ninetails attack, Fugaku learned that this clan would be forcibly shoved off to the side of the village. Fugaku protested against this obvious slight, pointing out that such a move was illogical because it would hamper the police force’s movements. It would make it more difficult to protect the village effectively because it would slow down the police force’s response time. While Fugaku spoke logically about the flaw in Danzo’s decision, no one backed him. Not even the people usually viewed as more intelligent and understanding and kind, such as Shikaku, Inoichi, and Choza. All of the clan leaders remained silent while the Uchiha were blatantly slighted by the government leaders and didn’t say a word in defense of the Uchiha. It indicates that the other villagers, even other clan leaders, knew the Uchiha were being slighted but they just didn’t care. At least not enough to say or do anything about the discrimination the Uchiha were facing.
We see Obito and Sasuke held to unfair standards by Kakashi, Naruto and Rock Lee because people expect them to be capable of living up to the high standards that the Uchiha are known for instead of accepting Sasuke and Obito for who they were and measuring them on their own merits. This is more of a “positive” stereotyping, but it’s still discrimination and it put unfair pressure on Sasuke and Obito to do better or otherwise have their clan name slandered just because they weren’t always performing as spectacularly as they were expected to.
When the clan was slaughtered, people viewed it as a tragedy, but it was pretty obvious that the village as a whole cared very little about the incident. No one seemed particularly disturbed that Itachi had murdered an entire population segment of Konoha — wiping out its strongest and most distinguished clan. The few who did mourn the loss didn’t care because they valued the Uchiha themselves — they only lamented the loss of powerful soldiers who had benefited the village. As I stated before It wasn’t grief for the Uchiha as people; it was regret over losing a strong military asset. Most people in the village let the horrific massacre slide without feeling moved to stop the killer. Aside from Sasuke (who cared deeply about his clan and the Uchiha because he is one) no one in the village seemed determined to bring the Uchiha’s killer to justice or avenge their fallen comrades – possibly because the villagers didn’t really view the Uchiha as fellow comrades. No one cared much about the lone survivor, either, so Sasuke grew up alone and uncared for after the massacre. It appeared that when the Uchiha were murdered no one cared, which just goes to show how unpopular the clan was.
It wasn’t that the Uchiha didn’t like being given an important role in the village, it’s that they were never given an important role in the village to begin with. The police force gave the Uchiha little influence over the village, and the influence that they did have was undermined by the Anbu and other governmental decisions. It was the fact that the Uchiha clan were barred from more important roles that made them upset with their government. After all, one of their four demands was increased involvement in the government because the Uchiha were generally estranged and detached from the government when the clan desired to become a part of their village again.
The fanfic idea
The Uchiha clan resides in the Devil May Cry universe, and they still possess the Sharingan, which functions identically in the manga, fanbook, databook, and novel. However, the Sharingan is more suited to the Devil May Cry universe. The Uchiha oppression and genocide still occur, and just like the Naruto manga, the Uchiha massacre (genocide) is a big event that is kept a secret by the government. There is no Kakashi, Naruto, and Sakura.
How would the life of a female Sasuke, who is like canon Sasuke, be if Sasuke were from the DMC world?
Or
after an event of Devil May Cry 5. Dante and Vergil, who are in the underworld, are transported into the Manga Naruto world and are de-aged into 12-year-old boys and placed in Team 7, which consists of Kakashi, female Sasuke, and they replace Naruto and Sakura.
Like I stated before Sasuke is a female in the fanfic, and she is the same as canon Sasuke
Again there is no Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno in this fanfic as they are replaced by Dante and Vergil.
If you haven’t read Naruto, here’s a list that I’ve compiled for you to check out if you’re interested in getting into Naruto

Sometimes I find myself thinking about what Kisame’s “village destroyer” moments would be like. Was he alone in doing this? Was it because of an order or a personal reason?…
Anyways, i like the hc which he witnessed his family being harmed by shinobi from a certain village during the Third Great Ninja War, which most likely took place when Kisame was a child (like Nagato’s Konoha shinobi trauma). Years later, when he became strong enough, he may had wanted to destruct that village. ( maybe i’m affected by Anakin Skywalker’s slaughtering the entire village of Tuskens after his mother’s death )
<Btw, I wrote all of this just to say that I love the theme which Kisame takes revenge for his personal issues.🩵🦈>
