Just thought I'd share with you guys that after 7 long years, I finished up my B.A in International Studies. It's been such a hard several years. All during this time I struggled with homelessness and having to get sober. I had to bury my mom, my boyfriend of 6 years and multiple friends. I gave birth to a beautiful son and have been raising him by myself. So, being able to get this degree means so much to me. It shows me that I am a strong independent woman and I can persevere no matter what comes my way. I am beyond grateful for this degree and my life today. Good things happen when you work hard and don't give up💕

For you that don’t know what Nike N7 is its the Native American brand of Nike that has Native athletes who are ambassadors which each collection is based on one of them. And the profits from the clothing and apparel go to the N7 fund.
The N7 fund gives money and resources to Native programs in the US and Canada to help Native youth get active to help prevent diabetes and suicide.
As a kid I use to play in Native basketball tournaments and travel for sports which made me happy and gave me skills that helped in my life. I want to give back to my Native communities and get our Native youth active and influence them to go for their dreams like I did
N7 has even created a shoe to help Natives who do have diabetes and have discomfort with their shoes. It’s called the Air Native and is designed to help Native people to provide comfort bc your feet swell so it aids to that.
