The Poser: Green Lizard in the Golden Hour
Some moments just click – the light, the silence, and a small island resident deciding you're a friend, not a threat. This green lizard posed on an old stone wall just as the sun began to dip, catching the last traces of warmth. With the Canon R7 and 400mm lens, I got close enough to see every single scale. It's amazing what details nature hides in plain stone if you just take the time to stop and look. ✨
🌱 I took this close-up of a beet leaf after a rain shower, and I love how the droplets look like tiny jewels. ✨ Often overshadowed by the root, beet leaves are actually little superfoods - rich in vitamins A, C, and K, plus minerals like calcium, iron, and magnesium. Most people toss them out, but they’re delicious sautéed like spinach, tossed into salads, or blended into smoothies. Nature’s beauty and nourishment, all in one leaf!
