oh my god this took forever 🫩 BUT ITS DONE!! just before art fight!! and im not even done prepping for artfight but auuahahabhahah shh…

anyways, i’m SUPER excited for laika studios next movie, wildwood, so i wanted to do a little tribute to the studio and its movies :)

this was honestly a really fun challenge for me. i tried my best to replicate the styles of some of the movies, and while i think i could’ve done better, it was still fun to try out. i think the total time for this was…26hrs and 4 minutes? i NEED to get faster at drawing dude 😭

so uh, watch the wildwood trailer if you haven’t. it looks really promising. we are currently 117 days away from the movie being released yes i have been keeping track i’m that excited OH!! no spoilers for wildwood in the tags please!! i want to watch the movie before i read the book.

ok it’s currently almost 2am as i’m typing this (will post later at a reasonable time) i need to shut up and go to bed BYE

First look at ParaNorman: The Thrifting, the new short film and new character reveal!!!

His name is Chad and he (presumably) runs a thrift store.

I’m just thinking about the short that’s going to play before the movie. The ramifications of it!!! THE LORE. 

We are getting. New. Content. Never before seen content! Though it’s not stop motion, but 3-D animated I’m just glad to get something new in this franchise. I have no idea how long it’s going to be, but I hope it’s more than 10 minutes. 

Are the kids going to be a bit older? Their voices are probably gonna be a bit older. Oh my gosh, having Norman and Neil interacting again?? I’m so fucking blessed to live in a timeline where I’m getting new scenes of Norman. Seeing my son on the big screen! Also found out that Finn Wolfhard is playing a character named Chad. Probably the cashier of the thrift store they’re in. Or maybe Courtney‘s friend. But back to Norman. We’re gonna see this kid interacting with the world again. New dialogue. A new case!!!

This is gonna be huge for us fanfic writers.
