Our Couple Rings Day 💍✨ We finally got our couple rings! 😍 Our next destination was Taguig, but before heading there, we stopped by MOA for our last lunch before moving to another city.

My husband asked if I also wanted a necklace or bracelet along with the ring, but I told him I’m not really used to wearing accessories — the ring alone is more than enough for me. 💕 For lunch, we ate at Pepper Lunch because I missed their food so much! Later that night, we had our dinner in the room while watching Attack 13 on Netflix. My husband was honestly so scared — he said the movie was terribly scary for him! 😂 Of course, he also bought me another BreadTalk treat from MOA (he really spoils me 🥰). We ate Korean food while watching, and it was such a nice time — eating together, laughing, and enjoying the night. I realized that whenever I eat with him, everything just tastes better. ❤️

Netflix confirmed Tuesday that it'll expand into video games, starting with ad-free games for mobile devices like phones and tablets available on its existing service at no added cost to subscribers. Thought I’d unwind with a movie tonight and put on the Robert Downey Jr version of Sherlock Holmes. Got 30 minutes in and had to stop because I hated him with a British accent so much I couldn’t get into the movie. Glad I did because I switched to Dumplin’, which just might be the cutest movie that ever was! I’ve not read the book, and I usually can’t read something I’ve watched first, but I think I have to try! Any fans out there? Being conscious- una lista di documentari, film e serie tv sul mondo e l’ambiente.

Se dovessi immaginare la serata perfetta, sarebbe così: pioggia che cade copiosamente, un tè caldo, un divano comodo, la copertina e un documentario. Uno dei miei passatempi preferiti è proprio quello di guardare i documentari, grazie a mio padre che è sempre stato appassionato di geografia, viaggi e natura. 

Un po’ per passione, un po’ per passare il tempo durante la quarantena mi sono dedicata alla visione (alcune volte anche al rewatch) di alcuni docu-film e docu-serie. Di seguito vi lascio la mia personale lista dei preferiti.

1) Rotten: in assoluto la mia preferita, una mini-serie che affronta con occhio critico le implicazioni ambientali, sociali ed economiche legate a determinati cibi. DA VEDERE!

2) Explained (IT In poche parole): non pensavo potesse piacermi, per via delle infinite puntate e dei pochi minuti per puntata. Invece ho dovuto ricredermi! Explained affronta tematiche diverse e sempre molto attuali ma con il dono della sintesi.

3) Our Planet (IT Il nostro pianeta): La serie parla di tematiche ambientali mostrando gli animali nei loro habitat e le conseguenze dell’inquinamento e del cambiamento climatico, la voce narrante è quella di Sir David Attenborough (Dario Penne per la versione italiana).

4) Down to Earth: la presenza di Zac Efron mi ha motivata ad iniziare questa mini serie, ma devo ammettere che è molto carina. Parla del viaggio di Zac e Darin in diverse parti del mondo alla scoperta di stili di vita diversi e pratiche sostenibili.

5) The Game Changers: un docu-film dedicato all’alimentazione vegana e allo sport. Ammetto di averlo guardato senza troppe pretese, anzi mi dava l’impressione di essere molto frivolo, ma alla fine mi è piaciuto.

6) Terra: un documentario di Yann Arthus-Bertrand che parla dell’evoluzione dell’uomo e del legame con la natura, super consigliato.

7) Chasing Corals: questo docu-film sa di un film d’avventura perché si segue il viaggio di alcuni scienziati e fotografi che indagano sui motivi che portano allo sbiancamento dei coralli. 

8) Mission Blue: merita di essere visto perché fa davvero riflettere sullo stato dei nostri mari e oceani- grazie Sylvia Earle ;) 

La mia lista termina qui, ma voi quali altri documentari mi consigliereste?
