Surprise 1 am older sketches from an AU where Sun dies instead of Moon and NS goes through their own Nexus arc. Buuut since Sun has a weird connection to witherstorms the nsp makes them a lot more Dragon-y because I like dragons.

This anthology looks like it's going to be an amazing book with an incredibly talented crew lined up. Some of my recent favorite artists have stories in here and I can't wait to get at them!

I am not part of it but wanted to do a piece just to point some people in that direction. But please check it out if you enjoy extremely weird scifi/fanstasy worlds.

reading the book of the new sun and i loooove how like. you’re primed to like severian because he’s witty and intelligent and the main character, and he didn’t choose to be an apprentice to the torturers, and he’s gentle with thecla. and then you realise that he actually quite likes torturing and executing people, he only sees women as passive sex objects or manipulative harpies, he put thecla on a pedestal and essentially killed her because he was too possessive, he’s a liar, a cheat, and a smug arrogant dickhead. and it’s soooo fun
