Hermann is a Vulcan (or maybe half) and in Engineering bc robots - now I have to Vulcanify his name lol - T'lieb? T'lyb?? Idk

Mako is definitely in Engineering too

Pentecost is captain, ofc

Maybe Rayleigh is a Security guy who gets an upgraded post when they realize he's got the drift brain?

But mostly it's about Newmann boldly bickering where no one has bickered before XD

Forgot I never posted this unfinished thing for @hermannsthumb’s 50’s AU that I’ve re-read like a bunch of times. The idea of a too-sweet-and-incompetent-to-be-a-greaser greaser Newt well never not be amazing

AU where Newt Geiszler is a demon; Hermann asks him to show him his true demonic form, and he does, and it’s this:

okay but imagine that Newt has a tiktok.

it's mostly just for funsies, a place where he shares some of his kaiju theories and his routine at the shatterdome.

until he accidentally records a discussion between him and Hermann but he decides to post it anyway because, hey, it's actually kind of funny and something he thinks his 100 or so followers would like. but then the video just blows up, with thousands and thousands of people commenting that they sound like an old married couple and that they ship them.

and if that wasn't a lot to take in already, there is another group of people commenting that Newt should make a "x days until he falls in love with me" challenge. and tbh? Newt isn't completely against the idea of actually doing it.
