YES Andy Fleming is technically more of a "threat" to Nick's self-defense mechanisms but throughout the book Nick himself feels more threatened by Mark because he knows.
((I actually read You Should Be So Lucky before I read We Could Be So Good so when Mark showed up I was pumped.))
Cat Sebastian please take all my money. I would read 100 thousand million books about Mark, Eddie, Nick, Andy, and every other character that even breaths in You Should Be So Lucky and We Could Be So Good
Please I cherish them they are so lovely
For the record Robby GK looks almost exactly the way I imagine Nick from We Could Be So Good looking in my head when I read the book. Like it’s so spot on that I’m going to need him to play Nick if that book ever gets adapted.
Fan cast of Dacre Montgomery as Andy Fleming and Fabian Frankel as Nick Russo
More under the cut bc theyre 💖perfect💖
we could be so good 📰🚬

excerpt from "and curiosity clipped his wings"
ask to be added/removed from my tag list!
` ` `
"You don't like theater?" he asks.
I tell him that where I come from, the arts never really caught on. Nick hums, but when he speaks, his voice sounds vacant.
"It sounds like you came from a whole other world sometimes," he says.
I glance over at him from where I'm putting away groceries (red beans go in the top shelf, white in the lower, and by now I know to just directly throw away the corn - Nick hates it.)
Nick is lying upside down on the couch, the TV flickering its deathbed. His face is just barely lit by its glow, his features strangely angular. His eyes remind me of stars.
It's funny, but for a moment, I think he looks more angelic than I ever did.
Then the moment is gone, and Nick turns to face me with a soft smile that I return.
"Sometimes," I say, "that's how it feels."
btw this is the mental image I have of andy and nick from we could be so good
(nick's haircut would probably be a little more conventional but you get the gist lol)
