just to warn this post is written under the assumption that nick is actually into women (which I believe he is, a little bit at least) and the traits are in context of this attraction to women, as i believe he’d value quite different traits in male partners
thinking about nick talking about how he wants a passive woman during his stream last night. he allegedly wants a woman who won’t speak back to him, won’t give him any shit, won’t make snarky comments and of course, won’t be the one running the show
i could not see him being satisfied with this whatsoever, well tbh, i could not see him satisfied in any direction which his life is heading. but if he had this type of partner, he would be so fucking bored. he’s talked about wanting a relationship with conflict before, when he’s been honest about what he likes personally. instead of trying to say what he thinks normal people should like, like he did last night, because well… he is not a normal person and he will never be satisfied in a healthy relationship
a high-tension relationship with lots of drama and fighting is inevitable for him. i get the impression, that opposed to what he says, he actually would be into a dominant woman. i’ve previously written about this, but i believe he would not make the first move on a woman, like ever, because according to him, things like that never cross his politically-engaged mind.
but i need to be clear, i do not mean a dominant woman in the way in which laura horn or sailor spider girl operate. because ngl, i could see myself getting sick of them easily and i love women. they’re too extroverted and personable for him imo. i mean a woman who is very smart, quite introverted, calculated and allows him to feel like he’s in power, when really she holds all the cards. a woman who is sarcastic, confident, independent, mostly emotionally repressed but occasionally creates conflict by acting assertively.
during yesterdays stream, he hinted at his mother being overbearing, as he said we’ve all met women who are like laura horn, such as our own mothers. this leads me to my next point, about having an overbearing mother, which i believe is 100% true, even though they still have a very close relationship. why that is, i’m not sure, but he is definitely the golden child to his mum and a true mothers boy. with that, no doubt, comes an overbearing mother whomst he still loves.
although, this is a trait which i do not believe he would appreciate in a future wife. you cannot give a man like nick two nagging women in his life, he will go insane. instead, i believe he’d appreciate someone who mostly does things independently to him, but lowkey controls his life without him knowing. someone who will play mind games wit him instead of demanding exactly what they want, allowing him to feel like he’s in control
okay anyway i kinda just let my mind go wherever with this one, and ofc this is subjective. this is just the dynamic which i would see for him in the future :P i’m curious about what characteristics you guys think a future, male or female, partner for have? ofc i’ve only covered the female basis here and it’ll be quite different for a male perhaps
