The Circle of Commerce

It dawned on me that Pantalone, Ningguang, Diluc, and Ayato all deal with one another with it comes to matters of Commerce and Finance.

Part of me wants to believe that part of that includes them all sending passive aggressive notes and petty gifts to each other just for funsies.

A business dinner between the four would just be epic. - The sheer tension between Diluc and Pantalone. Archons Above - Diluc's eye twitches for the majority of the meal - Nigguang reminding Pantalone about Childe's fuck up in Liyue - Ayato reminding Pantalone about how badly Scaramouche *and* Signora fucked up in Inazuma - Diluc proudly adding that it was the traveler that beat all of them - Diluc, Ayato, and Nigguang bond over their stories of the traveler - Ayato gets the latest gossip on Mondstadt from Diluc so he can take it back to Thoma - Imagine the mighty Fatui Hargbingers being outwitted by a teen and their fairy friend. Couldn't be Ayato, Diluc, or Nigguang - Pantalone disgusted by the spoiled rich kids that are Diluc and Ayato - Pantalone trying to be charming with Nigguang and she just nopes him - Nigguang talks about her hot Pirate GF all night to shut him up -Ayato and Nigguang go OFF about dealing with Childe and his BS - Ayato and his razor sharp tongue hurling insults faster than the servers can fill the wine goblets - Nigguang smirking and hurling backhanded compliments from behind her fan -Three of the four get way too drunk. -Panatlone insults Diluc's wine -Diluc reconsiders his sobriety. He can reasonably get away with punching the fool if he (Diluc) can claim he was drunk - Diluc has to carry/drag Ayato and Nigguang home. - Diluc being 1000% done with all of them

We don’t know much about what shit looks like in the Abyss. For all we know, the most fucked up shit is seen as mundane. Maybe even cute! Hence, I propose this interaction between my main squad during the Childe boss fight.

Xiangling: OH GOD OH NO OH THAT’S SO FUCKED UP! I don’t even wanna eat that it’s so nasty!! 

Kaeya, speaking as if talking to a small animal: Aww, you look adorable! Does the little abomination to the Archons want some head scratches? Maybe a few dreams to devour as a snack? Oh I bet you do, you cute little guy! 

Jean, usually cool-headed: KAEYA WHAT THE FUCK

Nigguang: In business, one must expect a wide variety of reactions to horrible circumstances or unfathomable truths. But...all my years of experience didn’t quite prepare me for this.

Kaeya, not even paying attention: C’mon little guy! I wanna see that cute tongue of yours, I’ll even let you have a bite of flesh as a treat! Who’s the sweetest, cutest, most abominable thing in existence?

Haaaaai everyone! I'm officially on my Christmas break, even tho I'm still working aaaah ;;; Still I wanted to write for y'all, so here's something just in time for Christmas! I'll be writing more during my break and trying to fulfill your resquests!

So you're giving a gift you your partner, but you're scared they won't like it... This was requested by @kia-isabelle!

Zhongli

You were standing in front of his office door, hugging the wrapped box close to your chest. Would he like what you were about to give him? Would he hate it? Those thoughts were racing in your head and, before you could thing of something else, his office door opened.

“Oh (y/n)… Why are you standing here? Do you need something?” His tone carried some worry in it. He really wasn’t sure as to why you were standing there. Before he could place another word, you quickly handed him the package.

“H-Here! I wanted to give you something, that’s all, I hope you’ll like it…”

Your partner took the package from your hands carefully. As he finished unwrapping it, you could see a light shining in his eyes. He quickly pulled you for a hug and kissed the top of your skull.

“Thank you, my love… I… I’m at loss for words. This is such a wonderful present.”

Kaeya

You knew that the cavalry captain was stressed by his work lately, and you wanted to give him something, just so he could take his mind off from work for a few hours. You had cooked dinner and the wrapped gift was sitting on the middle of the dinner table. Kaeya would be home at any minute, and you were starting to doubt it all. Would he like your gift? What if ended up hating it? What if-

“(Y/n), I’m home!”

The sound of the door closing, and his footsteps brought you back to reality. Kaeya was now standing in front of the table, with a puzzled look on his face.

“I know work has been tiring for you lately, so I just wanted to help you think about something else and-“

Before you could finish your sentence, you felt your feet leaving the ground. Kaeya was now holding you in his arm, with the biggest smile you had ever seen on his face.

“This is so sweet (y/n)… I don’t deserve you, my love.”

Thoma

Even if he was the housekeeper of the Kamisato clan, Thoma always found time for you. Sometimes it was as simple as going on walk with you or helping you around your own house with different tasks. He was always so kind and generous to you, and you never knew how to thank him properly. Even now, as you were walking to Komore Tea House with the gift safe in your hands, you were wondering if you had made the right choice.

As you walked in the tea house, Thoma was there to great you with his usual smile:

“Oh, hi (y/n)! Do you need help with something today?”

“Oh, no! Actually, I’m here to thank you, Thoma”. At this point you were shaking slightly, but you still handed him the present without dropping it. “It’s nothing big, but I just wanted to thank you for always being with me and helping me.”

Your partner took the present and carefully opened it. Once he saw what was inside, he looked at you with a huge smile on his face.

“Oh (y/n) it’s wonderful!”

Actually, he looked like a happy puppy at the moment.

Childe

It was a random decision, really. You were simply walking in the streets of Liyue when you saw it and thought of your boyfriend. It was something simple and cute. At least… It was to you. You didn’t know if the red haired would like it or not. He was now standing in front of you, carefully tearing the colourful paper from the box. Once he was done, he was holding the said gift in his hands, staring at it, without saying anything. Maybe it was a bad idea after all…

“Ah, Childe… I-It’s okay if you don’t like it, you don’t have to keep it! I’ll just-“

“It really made you think of me, (y/n)?”

“Well yes… I thought it was cute and-“

You couldn’t even finish your sentence before his strong arms wrapped around you.

“It’s adorable! I’ll keep it with me whenever I travel!”

Beidou

It had been a few months since Beidou left with her crew, and today was the day she was coming back. You were now waiting for her on the docks with a small box in your hand. It was something small, just a thought you had. A simple gift to remind her of you when she was at sea. You were really hoping she was going to like it… Lost in your thoughts, you only noticed her when she wrapped her arm around your shoulders.

“Ah, I knew you would be waiting for me (Y/n)! Did you miss me that much?”

“Well of course I did!” you answered with a small laugh. “Talking about missing each other, I got you something… Just so you don’t forget me…”

Beidou eyes widened as you handed her the small box. She opened it carefully and she had the biggest smile you ever saw on her face.

“C’mon (Y/n)! You know I will never forget you, don’t you? But when I miss you, I’ll make sure to look at this gift to remind me of your love.”

Nigguang

What could you offer to someone as rich as Nigguang? You knew it was the intention that counts. But you felt it was ridiculous to offer her the gift you were about to give her. She was always working so hard for both of you, and you wanted to thank her for that. And now you were standing there, doubting your whole idea. Still, standing here wouldn’t help you at all… So you decided to walk into her office.

“(Y/n)! Did you need me for anything?”, Nigguang greeted you with a smile.

You shook you head and simply handed the wrapped gift to her. She took it, looking at you with a puzzled expression. As she was opening it, you spoke up:

“I know it’s nothing big but… I just wanted to thank you. You’ve done so much for me and I’m so lucky to have you in my life… So thank you Nigguang…”

You felt her kiss on your cheek, and all your worries melted away.

“Thank you so much (Y/n). I’ll cherish this forever.”
