Made another thing 🥰
Made a thing as a birthday gift.
Looking for a fic. It’s a kid! Tim Drake fic where he and Bruce become besties. I think they both had undiagnosed autism and would vibe at galas. This is pre Dick Grayson though I think he does show up eventually. Does anyone know the fic or can provide a link? I would appreciate it.
I think people are forgetting that season 2 and 3 are, at the end of the day, just fanfiction. Really polished and high budget fanfiction, but just that. It’s not that serious.
Made a thing 🥰
Hey Black Butler fandom… How’s it going? We know our!Ciel’s name yet?
I’ve been on a starkid binge lately and so I decided to rank the musicals. I’m excluding VHS: Christmas Carols as I have not seen any of that.
1. Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier- I feel this was peak. Starkid really honed their skills from their previous parodies and had the budget to match it. Excellent acting and singing with so many bangers. I think about ‘If I Believed’ often
2. Holy Musical B@tman!- classic, no bad songs, great Batman homage
3. A Very Potter Sequel- Excellent, classic, I used to love it more before… well… yeah. Anyways, again, they learned from their first parody and made the improvements needed while having through lines from the first one. Or I guess retroactive set up. Still, excellent.
4. Starship- Again, no bad songs and the puppets were awesome.
5. The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals- saw this one live. It was fun live and still just as fun of a rewatch on YouTube. It has so many catchy songs and I love a good sci-fi horror musical.
6. FireBringer- I don’t wanna work today gets stuck on repeat in my head. I remember this one more for its story than its music tho and I think that’s why it’s lower than TGWDLM. That being said I really loved all of the characters and it’s a solid show.
7. A Very Potter Musical- what can I say? It’s a fun time with banger songs. For a first production it’s great and spawned so many memes. I also think they understood the source material better than some official HP projects.
8. Me and My Dick- Production value was bad but the show itself was very good. Very fun and surprisingly heartfelt. A great first original show for Starkid.
9. A Very Potter Senior Year- I wish this was a full production but it has so many bangers.
10. The Trail to Oregon!- It was funny and I liked the interactive element. However, I can’t remember any songs and I haven’t felt the need to rewatch it.
11. Black Friday- I also saw this one live. I remembered liking it but again I don’t remember any of the songs and haven’t felt the need to rewatch it.
12. Cinderella’s Castle- I also saw this one live. In theory, this is right up my alley. I even liked the production, most of the characters and in theory the story. It just felt like the script could’ve had another pass. I remember more of the plot and characters than Black Friday, but this is lower because I remember driving away a bit unsatisfied and not willing to watch it again on YouTube.
13. Ani: A Parody- not a fan. I just didn’t like Ani, I’m sorry. I can’t remember liking any of the characters. But I have watched it twice. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
14. Nerdy Prudes Must Die- I really don’t like this one. I was so bored that I think I fell asleep before it was finished. I didn’t like the premise, the characters, or the songs. Maybe it got better but it was so painful getting to where I got that it’s not worth trying again.
Honorable Mention- The 10 year Starkid Reunion Concert- saw this one live as well. It was very fun!
Rocky/grace soulmate au prompt idea… you feel a faint pulse that feels stronger the closer you get. Grace doesn’t feel it before beyond the faint baseline that assures you they’re alive. Only after he is truly alone in space does he feel a pulse.
