Isn’t it fun thinking of all the possibilities?  I’m leaning towards James being in prison until Teresa grows into a big enough danger to Castel (or the CIA’s interests) that they use a threat to James' safety as a way to control Teresa just like they used a threat to Teresa’s safety to control James.  ANGST.
