I wanna as well draw the Ninja in Cookie Run style. I really did my best of drawing these elemental ninja homies as cookies and lookie how cute they are! ^w^

dareth can sing so well !! i enjoy listening to his voice just as much as i do elvis, which is saying a lot. the crime here is that this clip wasn’t a full-length song. he’s so talented and i need him to sing more often fr like im so serious

i think the fact that he opened a karaoke bar says a lot about him too like. this guy really enjoys music! he’s got a killer voice. he’s very fashionable and there’s a certain level of charm to his goofy cringefail self. there’s literally no point to this post i just love dareth and i truly don’t think he receives enough credit in-universe

okay so basically what you need to know first: Nya knows she's the EM of fire. Kai doesn't. Nya and Kai are very androgynous and nearly identical, so that's why she could pull this off.

Zane knows about this, but doesn't tell anyone out of fear for kai.

eventually nya has to go home for some kind of mission and the other three follow and find out.

for s4, the elements of water and wind are controlled by wojira, not the fsm, so they didn't matter, but having both would have made the spell stronger.

rough layout it starts off relatively the same where we introduce kai and nya's smith shop, except kai is an actual competent weapons maker. master wu comes in and nya recognizes him quickly from all the paintings she's seen of him, and tries to divert his attention from kai to her, but he waves her off. when the skulkin attack, nya shoves kai in a closet and steals some of his clothes to fight as him. the skulkin find and take kai, but wu thinks it's nya. he promises to help save "her" and they go into the monastery. Nya meets jay, zane and cole, and jay is and so they do the training/ and nya is shown to already know (somewhat) how to control her powers (because of previous training.) Nya gets impatient and blows up at wu and the others and runs off to go find kai then we cut to kai, who's cursing out the skeletons and trying to tell them that he's a guy, but they don't believe him. then nya busts in and beats them up, and kai is confused until nya explains. he lets her do what she needs to but warns her to stay safe and keep her mask up. the others arrive and nya introduces kai as her sister, and zane starts to notice discrepencies.

anyway, kai is allowed to live at the monastery while they train, and he keeps making weapons as a way to cope with having to leave his home. kai and nya have a heartfelt talk and hug, and are almost captured.

fast forward and we see that the ninja (minus kai) have found lloyd. Kai goes dad mode and tries to take care of him but lloyd refuses. yadda yadda yadda, lloyd gets stuck in a cave, kai saves them, they bond.

yadda yadda yadda, zane figures out about their secrets and promises to not tell once he confronts them.

even more fast forwarding, the team has to go to kai and nya's home and they find out about the switch. Wu is ashamed of himself for being ignorat, Jay is confused, Cole understands, and zane just goes "yeah i know lol."

Pt 3. Of the chibi Ninjagi characters we got Jay Walker!

Some ninja head-cannons that I’ve had banging around for a while.

Kai: He may not be great at a lot of things outside of fighting, but the one thing he’s second to none at is money. It’s something that he’s always had to manage while growing up, so that they could have enough for food and basic necessities. 

The only other person on the team that Kai will ever leave alone with the purse strings is Zane, but that’s because he knows that the nindroid can and will keep track of every cent. Speaking of which…

Zane is OBSESSED with baking. He’s one of the best cooks that Master Wu has ever known, but the one thing that Zane has always had problems with, is baking! His original body had a full range of senses, including taste. But once he built his new body, he included a much better sense of sensors. They work great, except now they’re too sensitive, so everything he bakes either tastes too sweet, or not sweet enough.

Zane does enough baking, but it’s Cole and Lloyd who usually eat most of it. The boys both have one hell of a sweet-tooth, and Cole absolutely loves cake, mainly because of how much he works out. Lloyd on the other hand craves it because of his Oni-side.

Cole once finished-off 2 and a ¼ cakes on a dare, and he loved every minute of it! That’s also the one time he ate himself sick. After that, he swore-off having cake ever again. To help him with his cravings, he took up meditation, where every time he got a craving for cake, he would chant: “My body is a temple…” 

Lloyd craves sweets not only because he’s a kid, but also because sugar is as addictive to Oni, in the same way that cocaine and other hard drugs work on human addiction. That's why Wu makes sure that all of the sugar and coffee is hidden and locked up tight! They lock the coffee with the sugar because they don’t need Jay bouncing off the walls with Lloyd.

Jay is truly the one ninja who’s really hyperactive. It’s enough that Nya has more once considered slipping him a sedative...Just like everyone else. He once got ahold of some coffee when her and Kai first came around. Jay was so hyper that he ran the training course from lunch until close to midnight!

Nya is the cool head of the group (and the one who usually timeshares their lone, collective braincell). She’s great with machines, but she is absolutely TERRIBLE with money (Hence why Kai doesn’t really trust her with it). She’s just too generous when it comes to negotiating prices (and she tips half of the bill!) Zane also doesn’t let her near the kitchen, because like Cole, she’s about as good at cooking as Wu is about telling the ninja about potential villains BEFORE they become a problem!

That’s all I’ve got for tonight folks!

Up until they helped Lloyd up the bounty, everything seemed to be going well, leaving them no time to prepare for what would come next.

"I know! I know, we really need to fix this stupid reverse." Nya muttered as she left the wheel to look over the banister, watching her little brother tread water. "You ok down there?"

"Fifth time! This is the fifth time today!" She heard her little brother yell angrily, and Nya had to giggle at the ridiculousness of it. Using her element to drag her brother from the sea.

Dropping her soaking wet brother on the deck, they watched him stomp off, muttering darkly as he went down bellow to dry off.
