So. It's been a while since I've posted... anything. But I feel I need to speak out about this, and spread awareness.

Nintendo has gotten patents for key mechanics in Pokemon-like games accepted, and are cracking down on indie developers for the reason that they are doing better.

This is unacceptable behavior that could ruin projects built upon for years, and even stamping out creativity from independent developers.

Well, I've had enough.

I'm not going to stand by as Nintendo bullies innovative creators into submission, threatening lawsuits if disobeyed.

I'm standing against Nintendo. And I support freedom of expression.

I am boycotting the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy movie!!!

So I have decided to boycott the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy film due to Chris Pratt and Nintendo unethical business practices.

I'll start with Nintendo, I think Nintendo's recent business practices are extremely unethical because they will legit prevent people from playing their old games by discontinuing the Virtual Console for a mediocre subscription service and punishing those who emulate them. They legit shut down a Smash Bros tournament because they had to use a multiplayer emulator due to COVID because Melee did not support online multiplayer. So Nintendo would rather make people play a video game in person during a pandemic and get sick than use an modified emulator to safely play at home.

The biggest reason however is Chris Pratt. I am boycotting the new Mario movie because Chris Pratt is transphobic and supports RFK Jr. Transgender people are being persecuted in the US right now and RFK Jr offends me as an autistic person, I don't want to support a movie involving him.

So yeah! I am boycotting Super Mario Galaxy! You should too!

You're telling me that pokemon box's adventure mode wont work when using the game with Nintendont allllll because of a stinky little memory chunk that gets written to a slightly different place when its running on the wii?
