It’s great to know I have a support system of people I have yet to meet, on top of my family and friends. I know I’d be there for them if they needed anything and they’d do the same for me.
Hank and John have shown me that there are people who think about things the same way I think about those things.
They have shown me that it’s okay to be nerdy and expect people to accept you as you are. They have shown me that it’s okay to still get ridiculously excited over Harry Potter or other ‘childish’ things at any age.
They have shown me this and more and it was at a time where I really needed it. For their videos, for their insight, for their humor, I will always be utterly grateful.

I go to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which is a prestigious engineering school in New York. It’s a miserable place sometimes, between failing test averages and the morbid weather, it can get to you.
On the occasion, I’ll see people in my dining hall wear a pizza John shirt or a no edge space shirt.
I know those are people like me who I can sit down with and talk to, regardless of anything else. I met a really good friend this way.

Since the Greens made a loving and accepting community over the internet, it's amazing to be able to continue that in person, with people who are my age and are going through the same struggles and hard times as me (plus I don’t mind that they enjoy an engineering joke every now and again). I have expanded my horizons and my connections between people so much because of these guys and that’s really an awesome thing to be a part of.
