Series: Part 10 of What I'm Looking For Summary:
With the start of a new year, the start of the rest of Steve's and Bucky's life at long last arrives. And finally – after a long, long time – they'll actually be fine.
So – once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more. I can't believe that this is really happening, but it's finally time for part 10, the final instalment of this series. And after 9/10 parts of suffering, I think we've all earned some good times, don't we? I wasn't going to leave this series behind me without giving you more than some happy ending crumbs.
These last 30 chapters, just like all the ones before, are fully written and edited. I will update every other day. I hope it's gonna be as rewarding for you to read as it was for me to write!
Chapter 14: 3 June 2024
Snippet:
“You know what we should do?” Steve asks him conversationally, squeezing his hand.
Bucky stops singing and raises his eyebrows at him.
Instead of explaining himself, Steve tugs on Bucky's hand until they're facing each other, right on top of Brooklyn Bridge. He leans forward so their foreheads touch, and then he bends down to kiss Bucky, long and deep.
Because this is what they should do.

I feel like Pietro would thrive in an X team (as we saw in X-Factor) because there is more scope for understanding that people are not idealised superheroes. Also most mutants are incredibly morally grey because they’ve had to survive extinction.
Maybe being part of a cause is a better fit for Pietro... I dunno. When he’s retconned out (he fucking better); I’d like to see him on an X-Team. Something tamer where he cannot get himself into too much trouble. Defo not X-Force that would break him.
