But you and Robert are meant to be!

I just cried thinking about how Robert losing his best friend led to Alec finding his best friend 😭😭😭
Another stellar show - Copenhagen, May 3, 1971. Robert’s voice. Damn. And what fkn ovaries they had - playing a bunch of new shit from LZ 4 that was months away from being released. They knew they were the best. A must listen.
This is best gossip I’ve heard in… forever! (Part 1)
It’s Jack and Diane’s wedding day. No Robert in this part. Before things start, Diane sits Victoria down and gives her first gossip (about Val and Paul being Rodney’s son while he was married to her) as well as telling her about her cancer (‘just hoping it’s a teeny tiny bit’) - good before the bad.

He’s confessed to setting the fire and he’s telling lies about Katie and Robert. (Part 2.1)
Oh, for heaven’s sake. Will it ever end with that boy.
No Robert, focus on Daz. Jack shows up at the farm which gives Andy the chance to vent to him about Daz and telling him about the lies about Robert and Katie. Jack offers his advice while Andy admits he likes Daz being his brother but being his provider… it’s for the better for Daz in the end. Keith Dobbs is there to take Daz who is devastated as Andy promised to take care of him, to stand by him no matter what and that he’s being punished for having done nothing wrong but tell the truth.

Look… if it’s the life you want then I’ll help you all I can but I’m not gonna let you kid yourself it’s an easy option.
There is no Robert in this episode but it sets the way for Andy taking over Butler’s Farm later. Andy learns Wilf is ‘definitely packing it in’ with the farm by autumn. Stephen, like Robert, has no interest in the farm and being ‘stuck’ there ‘up to my eyes in stinking mud for the rest of me life.’ Jack is not too keen about Andy’s talk about taking over Wilf’s farm because of the debt and basically both Wilf and him failing in the end.

Well as you ladies both know, being a good parent doesn’t guarantee you good children, does it?
No Robert. As we enter the final month of 2001, Jack isn’t too thrilled with Kathy staying with him even if it is for a few days (‘kidnapping is a serious offense’) worrying he could be charged for harboring her if word gets out. Edna isn’t doing so well with getting signatures for her anti-phone mast initiative. Elsa’s character is considered quite low by certain villagers as she bemoans Kathy. Jack lets Andrew know Kathy is staying at his to ease his worry. Jack offers his viewpoint to Kathy on kids being taken away based on circumstances.
