It's a caffeine and fluids day! Yesterday didn't go to plan as Olivia (toddler) split her head open and needs to see a facial specialist today! I hadn't eaten since breakfast and by the time we got home from the hospital it was very late so treated her to McDonald's and in my stress haze I was weak and indulged too! Confession: I rarely get sick, but when I do, it's intense. The irony is when I'd gone to get my annual physical last Fall I'd told my doctor I'd prefer not to get the flu shot because I work from home, so there's little chance I'll be exposed to any viruses (barring my UPS and FedEx delivery guys). So when I had the opportunity to spend time with my lovely snuggly granddaughter who 'was coming down with something' last Thursday at the start of my ten day vacation, I never considered the possible consequences.... Here I am a week later looking at this healthy salad hungry with no appetite. So I’ve been experiencing this whole new part to my journey for the last two days. I have been irritated to the point where I’m so restless which then turns into frustrated anger for absolutely no reason. Nothing I seem to do makes it subside. I’ve become really snappy and just don’t want to be around people because I’m afraid how I’ll react. My appetite is non-existent again to and I’ve already been told that I shouldn’t be losing anymore weight.
