i know the pilot had francis with the nametag “wilkerson” but the writers decided to omit a last name so their family wasnt tied to one ethnicity (basically they wanted people to be able to have their own headcannons) and i think we should respect that :) instead i adopt the tag nolastname because they make a joke in the finale where you think they’ll say the last name at graduation but . they didnt put a last name malcolm nolastname
