I have just learned about spirit babies, pre-mortal life, and spirit prison. Needless to say, I am wonderfully confused.
Kinda how I see spirit babies honestly.

Okay, so, first up on the wheel of religions I’m looking into/researching- Mormonism!! If that wasn’t apparent enough already lmao. Utah put it in my brain like an infectious little worm and so did my partner.
I’ll start annotating soon.
My first order of business is learning more about Joseph Smith and why the man made so many baller quotes???? Why do they go so hard? 💀
Just got back from a trip to Utah (Lehi) with my Fiancé! It was super fun and kinda surreal to be in a place with so many churches. Like, you could stand on a hill and count each one from a distance. It was even stranger to watch them slowly fade away as we drove back home. I got so used to seeing them, it honestly felt like something was missing each time we passed through a new town.
Stranger still, I swear the Mormons followed me because I JUST learned that we have a church here in town???? Like, I swear on my life I’ve never seen this church here before and now it kinda just appears??? My fiancé swears it’s always been here but I know better-
They’re in my walls. He’s conspiring against me.
On todays episode of religious ramblings from Ram,
I decide on whether or not I do an annotated reading of the Book of Mormon. I’ve been listening to the audiobook (fuck you dyslexia), hopefully to the delight of my partner, but I feel like I’d retain it more if I actually took notes.
If anyone’s interested in seeing my notes/thoughts as a non-Mormon, let me know!
I kinda feel like it’s a good idea to read through the religious texts’ of the religions I’m most curious about/interested in.
Some of my reasons for not having faith in the church.
Why do people assume the second coming will be a good thing? You're praying for an event that will cause the instant death of millions (or billions) of people. Does that sound like a good thing to you? And if you say "they were sinners and God has the right to judge them" Why? Why does God have the right to judge them? If God exists I sure as hell didn't ask him to. Religion bothers me when it gives no thought to the consequences of its doctrine.
