Just babbling to myself, and putting this here to keep track of my LOA progress
Once I let go of the fact that robotically affirming would magically make me thin overnight, I have actually started losing weight and doing stuff that helps me maintain the weight loss. I know this doesn't make sense at first, but I guarantee you that I am finding it easier to identify with // doing the habits of a skinny person etc through robotic affirming instead of just demanding the fat to instantly melt off then promptly get upset when I step on the scale and see I went up 5 pounds instead. So basically, been affirming that "I'm skinny" among similar and while the weight isn't coming off "magically" like I thought it would, I am doing stuff ( without thinking ) that helps with weigh management that still helps the weight to come off. IE - I'm eating around 1,200-1,400 daily instead of the usual 3,000. I'm getting in more steps without meaning too. If I want soda or an energy drink I reach for diet // zero sugar instead of regular. If I eat out, I do't order a lot and split the meal over several days or split with several people. Not as much food noise, working out lightly, etc. Basically robotically affirming that I'm skinny seems to help me get into the mindset that I'm a naturally thin person and adopt lifestlye habits that ensure I'm skinny.
As a quick add on before posting -- I do have a general idea of what I want to look like when I'm skinny that I visualize with occasionaly, so I think that helps
