A happy, healthy, non-massacre Itachi:

Part 1

Pairing: Itachi Uchiha x happiness

Genre: True happiness.

Synopsis: If Itachi got the life he deserved and Danzo didn't fuck everything up.

Warnings: mentions of killing and death. just once and very small.

• Itachi who leaves ANBU after a while and focuses on being a jonin.

• Itachi who sends a report asking the Hokage to please give him a genin team.

• Itachi loves children. 

• Itachi who adores his genin team and loves spending his time training the minions into fabulous shinobis. Team work, determination, hard work, discipline, consistency yes, but also empathy, values, morals, kindness, love and reading. He teaches them to be good humans even though their profession makes them look anything but. It's kinda hypocritical but that's the best he can do here.

• "Never use your power to make you look superior than anyone. If you are skilled enough to become a ninja make sure you only use your skills to protect and defend only. This doesn't make you weak at all."

• Itachi who's heart breaks when the young children experience their first kill. He can't bear watching their horrified, dull and heart broken faces but he supports them anyways. He tries to help them anyways. He knew this was bound to happen. He knows it's not easy. They are going to remember this forever. This is the exact moment when it hits most people what they have gotten themselves into. They are basically killing machines.

• Itachi who gives treats as a reward for their performance. After good training, successful missions, improved team work.

• His students started giving him dango treats for being the "world's best sensei". He was on the verge of tears but Itachi knows how to keep his emotions in check. 

• Itachi who spends most of his free time with his brother and his mother.

• Itachi who is very close to his mother. Mikoto knows him very well and he often rants to her about his feelings. She always gives him the best advice possible and when there is nothing she can do or can't help much about it, Itachi let's his mother wrap him in her motherly, loving and caring hugs.

• Itachi who is stressed by his father's ideals and opinions. He gets annoyed and irritated by Fugaku pressuring him into becoming like him. And once Itachi slips out of his hands because he makes it clear he doesn't agree with his father's ideas at all, his father tries to groom Sasuke into it.

• It doesn't work because Sasuke practically worships his older brother. He doesn't outrightly asks his father to shut up but he doesn't follow his footsteps either. Later on when he grows up and starts voicing his own opinions, Sasuke is bold enough to not let anyone force him to do anything. Itachi being proud of him is an understatement.

• Itachi and Sasuke train every single day when neither of them is on any mission. He loves spending time with his brother. Him and Sasuke are brothers, best friends, comrades, everything. It's a beautiful relationship. Sure Itachi and Sasuke have their fair share of friends but it's adorable to see their bond being so pure and developed.

• Itachi who helps his brother pack his bag when he leaves on a mission. Giving him a forehead poke and "I love you, Sasuke." before sending him off. Sasuke tries to act annoyed at first but later on let's him because he secretly loves it. He loves his brother's affection.

• So he acts like Itachi, giving the clan heir a lecture before Itachi goes on any missions. Imitating him on purpose. Trying to boss around. Itachi shakes his head and lets out a laugh.

• Itachi who spends his free time reading books in his room. Sasuke who isn't much into reading and despite Itachi telling him to read more because it's good for him, Sasuke doesn't. He keeps annoying Itachi until he agrees to go on walks with him.

• Sasuke keeps on ranting about how annoying Naruto is and how he hates those fangirls and Itachi acknowledging his feelings but also reminding him to not be rude and arrogant. One should always be polite, kind and understanding towards others.

• Itachi who has flawless skin 'cause Itachi Uchiha skin care routine would solve all my problems.

• Also his hair care routine 'cause Pantene: "Hair so healthy it shines."

• Boy has long, smooth, silky, shiny hair that flows like water in the wind. No I am not envious at all.

• Itachi who learns about all the things for the first time from Shisui. Sexuality, sex, romance- or not, curse words, everything.

• He is flustered at first with all the things Shisui says so bluntly but absorbs every information because that's just how he is. Noticing and understanding everything happening around him.

• He knows a few things already though. Itachi is observant and understanding. He puts pieces together immediately.

• Itachi who proposes mental health programs for all his emotionally stunted, mentally ill and unstable shinobi friends. Include him in because Itachi is an emotional boy who is fucking awesome in hiding his true emotions.

• Itachi who might become the next Hokage because skills 💯 intelligence 💯 power 💯 popularity 💯 mentality to lead 💯 

• He might not be very interested in becoming a Hokage. That was never his motive. But duty comes first and if he can benefit the village by becoming one, he has no problem doing so. Also the Uchiha clan would get their first ever Hokage. His parents and his clan wanted this. It made them happy and proud. So he did.

• Going for drinks with Kakashi, Asuma, Yamato, Gai, Genma, Raido, Aoba, Kurenai, Anko (oh God Anko), Shizune and sometimes Tsunade joins too. She is old but the woman knows her stuff. 

• Itachi doesn't like drinking but who asked him? He is always dragged along. He is reserved, I mean every shinobi is, but he doesn't talk much. He likes keeping things to himself but drunk!Itachi is funny and can be flirty which defo works. Sober!Itachi would never LMAOOOOO. Everyone loves him anyways so it's a win-win.

• When Itachi does speak though it's always witty remarks that make the whole table hoot. Other than his friends nobody dares to mess with him but his friends do try to tease Itachi time and time again. He just shakes his head at their antics and let's them.

• Itachi who loves cats. So often times he goes to animal especially cat shelters and spends his time playing with cats.

• Once he found out a place in the forest near Uchiha compound where there are alot of cats and apparently nobody knows about it? He likes that this is his little secret special place. He likes that he is the only one who knows. He loves spending time with little meow meows. The cats love him. (Me too. I reblog cat pics everyday, follow me so we can coo over cats together. This is shameless-follower-asking i am sorry.)

• Itachi who is feared among the nations. His name is enough to send shivers down the person's spine. But he also forms good bonds with other villages later on. Itachi is a pacifist. He hates wars with a passion. I mean nobody likes wars but Itachi's hatred is canon.

• Itachi who changes a lot of shit after he becomes Hokage 'cause no messed up shit happens under his nose. He will change what he can. New reforms will come a lot and frankly people like it.

• Itachi who has a soft spot for Naruto because he is one of the few people who makes his brother smile. The boy can change the whole vibe of the place. He also knows what Naruto has been through, so he and Sasuke often go to meet Naruto and check up on him. Sasuke suggested it and Itachi couldn't help but agree. The Uchihas would never adopt him much to Sasuke's dismay because he can remember the nights he couldn't sleep thinking about how sad and unfair it is for Naruto. So he talked to Itachi about it and he supported him fully.

• Naruto and Sakura come often to meet Sasuke. They are a great team. He didn't expect less from Kakashi, his former team mate and captain in ANBU.

• Itachi Uchiha who is happy with his parents, brother and friends by his side. Itachi who is healthy, as much as a Shinobi can be. Itachi who makes the Uchiha clan and in the end the village proud. Giving the village another very fine Hokage. 

A/N: you can see how desperate i was for Itachi to find true happiness and i didn't see a post like this anywhere so i made my own. jejsbgsgwsggsvgs😭😭

- Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke underestimating Sakura from the formation of Team 7 - Sakura befriends Shisui and then Itachi who help her prove her teammates how strong she actually is - Naruto and Sasuke not knowing how to act with their female teammate now that she’s a Hokage - Itachi and Shisui being her left and right arms (advisors) - Sakura (being Sasuke’s teammate) helping to improve the relationship between the village and Uchiha clan  - Fugaku wanting Sakura as his daughter in law

The first time Itachi ever confesses his feelings for a woman, he gets punched in the face.

He has been avoiding her for precisely eleven days, ten hours, and fourteen minutes. And in that time, he has come to recognize the odd streak of hope in his situation.

Although their last encounter had left him embarrassed and ashamed, it had also all but confirmed that Sakura is now aware of at least a small fraction of his feelings. Which means that half of the work is already done for him.

Now, he only has to confirm her suspicions and officially present himself as a possible suitor. If all goes well, he may just have a shot at redeeming himself.

SasuSaku Month 2017 - First Love

Note: Can take place in my future non-massacre SasuSaku story ENDURANCE.

“Come on Forehead, we’re going to hook you up with a date for tonight.” Ino tries to persuade Sakura to get her head out of her medicine textbooks. Said girl ignores the blonde.

“No thanks Pig.” She nonchalantly takes down her best friend’s offer. Tonight all of Konoha 12, including Sai were invited to the wedding reception of Itachi and Izumi Uchiha.

“You’ve been crushing on him since the Academy Days! Even I’m over him.” Now that Ino was dating Sai.

“Ino, it doesn’t matter, I don’t want to play with another man’s feelings just to spite Sasuke-kun, it’s stupid and immature. Need I remind you that we’re close friends, I’m sure this crush will go away once he gets engaged to some beautiful girl from his clan.”

Sakura is getting annoyed now. Who says she should pursue after someone who doesn’t give the slightest romantic interest in her? Sakura won’t let her infatuation get in the way of becoming a powerful kunoichi. But deep down, she knows Sasuke will always have a special place in her heart. And it just hurts that she will continue loving him unrequitedly even after he gets married.

“You’re a horrible liar Forehead.” Ino softly tells her and Sakura knows she’s right.

“I’ll tell him one day Ino, just not now.” She promises.

“I’m holding you to that promise.” She then grabs Sakura by the arm and says, “But we are going shopping for new kimonos for tonight.”

That hair. So accustomed to the dark shades of her clansmen Mikoto came across everyday, this young girl sure was attention catching. Somehow it seemed so familiar, yet no name could be placed in association with it. One thing was for sure - she had seen it before. But where? Ah, yes - that was it! Sasuke had come home one day with a picture of his genin cell. Alongside her sons grumpy mug, a girl with a smile as bright as her hair.

Pink. Pink was such an eye catching color, clearly not favored amongst Uchiha. One could walk through the whole complex and not discover more than two items the color of pale rose. Maybe, except in spring when nature was at full bloom... and so were the Sakura trees.

Oh, that's her name!

“Sakura?" It hadn't meant to come out as a question. Surely if she had remembered correctly the girl had a name to match her hair. However, her son never talked much about his female teammate.
