Kurz vor der morgigen Landtagswahl in Bayern sind gestern in Nürnberg Wahlplakate der Ultràgruppe Banda di Amici aufgetaucht. Die Ultras des Clubs drückten damit ihre Abneigung gegen die CSU, den Ministerpräsidenten Markus Söder, Bundesinnenminister Horst Seehofer und gegen das neue Polizeiaufgabengesetz in Bayern aus.

It’s time for revolution now, or it’s time for demonstration. The right to demonstrate is a fundamental right in Germany, and this is great. A demonstration is a good way for a group of people to show their opinion.


Demonstrations can be different, like a rally, a march, or a sit-down-strike. They can be big or small, loud or quiet, they can be against something (like a new law), or they can be to support something, like freedom.
The first photo shows a protest march by Kurds in Cologne about three years ago, against the suppression of Kurds by the Turkish government, and the second photo shows a march in Munich this week, against a new bill, called "Polizeiaufgabengesetz" ("police duty bill"), proposed by the ultra-conservative government of Bavaria, which will lead to severe restrictions in personal freedom of Bavaria's citizens in Munich this week.


It was my first protest march, and a great experience to walk with more than 30.000 other people from Marienplatz in Munich to Odeonsplatz. 



This week’s praise to the demonstration right and everyone who demonstrates in a peaceful way. This week’s criticism to everyone who uses a demonstration for violence and hate.

Auch Ultra Sankt Pauli positionierte sich gegen das geplante Polizeiaufgabengesetz.

Gestern noch gelesen, dass 7.000 Teilnehmer erwartet werden, heute mit ca. 30.000 Menschen jeden Alters am Marienplatz in München gegen das "Polizeiaufgabengesetz" und für die Freiheit.

some personal doodles for a change!!  one was in honor of mentalhealth awareness week and how I get emotionally tilted sometimes, the other one in response of a new law in Bavaria, Germany. The shirt says imminent danger which is now the level of threat police officers need in order to be allowed to act out (very roughly spoken). What imminent danger really means is up for interpretation which is sorta the reason we all are freaking out and I wanted to raise a little awareness to it.
