Great Notion Northleft Hazy IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Lots of orange citrus, some tropical and berry notes, and more dominate the nose of this. Relatively soft on the palate with a decent bit of juiciness that lingers.

Seattle is growing up as fast as the list of photos that can never really be taken again. Such is the case with this shot of a heavy storm day on the SR520 floating bridge. When big winds whip up from the south, massive waves form along a long fetch of Lake Washington, crashing into the floating span, eventually causing a temporary closure. There used to be a safe place to pull off, but now, with road construction butting up against trophy homes, it's no longer possible to get out on the bridge for this shot. The first cherry blossoms of the season are already making an appearance out here in Seattle, reminding me of covering the cherry production at one of the world's largest tree fruit producers here in Washington. Here, tons of hand-picked cherries come in from the fields, are washed and then optically sorted by size and color.
