Afternoon light in the University area, closing in on teatime The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is at the top of the short Korai square leading up from the larger Klathmonos Square. This is the Central Business District of Athens, bordered by the classic neoclassic buildings surrounding the University. Business and office buildings are the main functions in the buildings in the area. This means great offerings of big brand shopping, breakfast bars, lunch and afternoon restaurants, and a very quiet area after business hours. The old Themistoclean city wall build 479 BCE had its northeast limit here.
