"Non-binary" is so beautiful as a term and a community because it means everything outside of the binary range, outside of that binary standard, everything outside that binary life. Non-binary can be all parts of the binary, non-binary can be adjacent to the binary but different in such a magical way, non-binary can be neutral, non-binary can be entirely something else, non-binary can be every gender ever, all at once, in fluid form, non-binary can be no gender at all, minimal gender, the queering of gender, non-binary can be a metaphor, it can be a political stance of queerness, it can be anything. Anything.
Our community is beautifully multifaceted, like a rainbow stained glass window. Our differences are important to note and celebrate, but so is our unifying factor. We are not binary, non-binary. Now, isn't that so beautiful?
