The funny thing about ‘A Servant of Two Masters’ is that Merlin could have easily used magic at any time and kill Arthur because he spends that much time alone with him and Arthur trusts him that much, which is the problem, because I think a part of Merlin was fighting the spell and trying not to kill Arthur.
It’s why I think Merlin knows Arthur hugged him when they found him, since it was Merlin who walked to Arthur and smiled.
All of this to say Merlin’s first reaction in seeing Arthur after a long time even under enchantment is to hug him.
bunch of misc. doodles abt avery and his freaky-deaky mc world
yapping/ infodump down below
Avery turned the world from sfawtde/dawtde into his forever world and has taken to redecorating all of the areas of the King in Yellow's influence (as seen in 4th image)
The King's realm latched onto avery as its new ruler/ owner/ whatever since the king is lwk dead* and reacts to thoughts and stuff + avery seeing mc arg footage and suspecting that some of them might actually be real
-> the world making it so that going through the gates brings Avery to those other mc worlds (+ a couple of others hes not aware about) leading to him having some level of control over where he goes.
he ends up in derek's world by chance (maybe the world is reacting to his grief and guilt) and continuously goes back to it to try and help him with whatever supernatural stuff hes dealing with
But because the KIY was holding its realm together, its absence is causing to it slowly decaying over time. Avery, being human, is unable to hold it together. This to him glitching back into his own world after some time. The more the realm decays, the less time Avery gets in those other mc worlds. Eventually it'll become a regular minecraft world with no trace of the King's influence and he won't be able to world-hop at all.
surprisingly. out of the three brothers its pony that struggles the most with the passage of time. sure darry will always be turnin n forgettin his baby brother ain't much of a baby. n soda will surprise himself again n again by not havin to look up to darry anymore. but part of pony will always be 14. will always be livin some life in the fall of 67. n wishin. more than anythin at all. he didn't.

“You know that regular, Leon?” Claire wiped down a clean clear glass, setting it down at the wooden counter. Their shared shift was coming to an end, in around 15 minutes. No costumer was in sight, everyone had gone their own separate ways.
“He got a major crush on you.” Claire chuckled, her elbow poking at your arm.
You let out a laugh of your own, in disbelief at her words. Leon most certainly didn’t have a crush on you, he was just super friendly towards you. He was friendly towards anyone, nothing special.
“Liar liar, pants on fire,” you teased, giving her a slight push with your hip. It’s was saying you always used to call Claire out on her bluff. “If he liked me he would had said so already.” Suggesting as you ran a damp rag across the counters and then over the coffee machine. “Besides, he probably is already happily taken, he’s like in his thirties.” Wrinkling your nose and giving a look of disgust at the mention of the man’s age. You didn’t mind him being older, not at all, but you were next to Claire, she would had probably clown you for liking someone as old as him.
“Thirty-eight to be exact.” Claire corrected. You now had a smile of your own.
“Stalking the poor fella? I didn’t know this side of you, Claire.” Leaving the towel on the counter, you cross your arms under your chest. “I’d say you’re the one with a crush him, but you’re projecting it on me.”
“Hey, I don’t stalk anyone,” Claire’s hands came up in the air in a surrendering pose. “Chris and Leon are buds, so I know a few details about him.” Raising her hands down to untie the apron that clung to her skin. Her eyes gazed at the clock, noticing only ten minutes left of their shift. Finally, she would be able to go home, sleep, and then repeat the same thing again tomorrow.
“Finish wiping down the rest of the machines so we can get out of here.” Claire said as she stretched, twisting and turning her body till a crack was heard.
“You driving me home again?” You asked, unfolding your arms to pick up the rag once again. “That’s nice of you, you don’t have to do that. I can just wait for the bus.” Giving an alternative option as the rag swiped up and down the machines.
“Nonsense,” Claire shook her head, resting her body on the glass display that once was filled with fresh pastries. “The chances of you getting swept off the streets are high. Who will come to work tomorrow if you’re gone? I cannot work alone having to deal with customers bullshit.” She let out a rough sigh and began to dig for her phone from her pockets.
“Wow, and here I thought you did it out of the kindness of your heart.” Laughing a bit as you set the rag into the trash. Claire was right about the customers though, they can be a pain in the ass sometimes, mainly during rush hour. The amount of times people had claimed that they made the order wrong was countless. Neither girls ever created the drinks wrong, they had each drink ingredients memorized.

“Finished, 5 minutes to spare-“
The jiggle of the bell that hung from the entrance rang. Fuck. You knew you shouldn’t hadn’t jinx it.
Both girls let out a frustrated groan, starting at the person whose fault it was for them not being able to leave work.
“Your sign must be broken, the neon lights aren’t glowing ‘open’.” The rough older man voice broke the silence that hung in the air.
Billy Hargrove’s story is unattachable from disability
Of course Dacre has said he portrayed Billy as having bipolar and generalised anxiety disorder (and Dacre is a disabled actor himself)
And the Duffers aren’t exactly known for their good treatment of disabled characters or disabled actors
When you look at social representation models for disability in media, a lot of these hegemonic traits fit with Billy pretty fucking well.
“The disabled character as sinister/evil”- throughout the narrative we are told that the way Billy behaves (a lot of which are pretty textbook symptoms of bipolar disorder btw) make him evil and someone to be feared. ESPECIALLY after he’s flayed and is literally seen as inhuman.
“The disabled character as a burden”- Stranger Things presents him as *burdening* Max, preventing her from seeing her friends because he’s *insert fandom mental health diagnosis here*
“The disabled character as sexually deviant”- Billy is seen to be flirting with Karen (never mind that he looks fucking nervous while doing it) therefore he is a sexual deviant and must also be sexually deviant in other ways. (And certain disabilities are absolutely hyper sexualised)
Even the ways the fandom reacts to him are steeped in ableism. I’ve seen him be referred to as a sociopath, as a narcissist, as if npd and aspd aren’t mental health conditions and are instead an insult. The abuse he endures is blamed on him being a “difficult child” for Neil to raise, again pointing at Billy’s disabled traits.
And that’s not even mentioning that abuse is inherently a disability issue.
Abuse is disabling. And disabled people are both more likely to be targeted and less able to escape.
Billy’s story and thus his villainhood is reliant on the fact that he is disabled. He is a disabled abuse victim and therefore he is inhuman in the narratives eyes.
The one heroic he does according to the narrative is die. It is incredibly depressing.
But it is a story which has been thrust on disabled people since the beginning of television. You can consider me disappointed but not surprised.
