"Do you have any siblings? You do! How many?" How much time do you have

"You in school?" How much time do you have?

"What's your job?" How much time do you have?

"What do you do for fun?" How much time do you have and are you in a place where you can receive emotionally upsetting information?

I... I could have sworn that this was already an au someone made up years ago (and maybe my subconscious unconsciously snagged on a small memory regarding it), but i think there be more discussion of a parent and child age swap and how it would affect the Percy Jackson books. And what I mean by that feels self explanatory to me, but that's probably only because the thought has hounded me. So let me try and explain.

I think it'd be interesting to imagine someone making fanart or something of a reverse story where the parents are the demigods. So it'd be characters like Sally Jackson, Frederick Chase, Beryl Grace, Tristan McLean, Esperanza Valdez, etc. It's probably a weird idea, which is why i'm convinced the idea must have been lurking in my brain due to a scrap of memory from years ago. But i just...i wouldn't know how to find proof this was an idea someone had before me. So i had to take the plunge and write about it anyway.

1. What are OTPs in your fandoms do you just not get?

Tbh Reborn/Skull. They don't really do much for me in terms of shipping and they clog up the Verde tag on ao3. I check that tag daily (I don't have a problem) and sometimes it'll just feel like that's all there is. I don't mind them so much in Arco/Arco because I read those for Verde and ALL the ship dynamics, but sometimes even those fics feel oversaturated with Reborn/Skull. It's basically just a "too much of this and they're not my blorbo" kind of thing. I don't hate them, but my brain does turn off when people try to talk to me about them. It's the same with XS tbh. If I see it too much my brain clicks off. I like variety and unless somethings reached fave status, it can be hard to engage.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

Nope! I'd be pretty disappointed in myself if I let something like fandom ruin my enjoyment of things. I'm the master of my own experience and if I find myself hating on something it just means I need a break or if I want to flex my creative muscles, write that ship and discover what I like about them. I did that for Reborn/Skull once or twice for an Arco/Arco fic or two. They may not be my favorite but with the right tropes I can find enjoyment in them.

22. Popular character you hate?

Okay so I don't really hate any khr characters but if I had to choose Hibari does frusterate me sometimes. Imagine, you're doing your duedilligence to try to understand a character and the character gives you nothing concrete to latch onto. He's not as violent as people in fandom sometimes make him but he's also not UwU. He's a secret third thing I plan to crack one day🔬👀/lh

The blue description definitely matches Mike and red is very very similar to El and since these are seemingly the colors they’ve been assigned I thought it was important! Just… what an odd coincidence that the characters the colors were assigned to just happened to match the sterotypes perfectly. What are the chances?
