The last half of yesterday sucked, so now I feel anxious and shitty and to cheer myself up, I’ve been watching some Justified (and to cheer myself down, I’m probably going to watch 1917 again because pain replacement therapy is a thing now) and I have some thoughts:
First of all, Art is a saint. Dealing with these idiots is a bottle-of-Pappy-a-day situation and he handles it with a lot more grace than I would. not you rachel you’re an angel and art’s glad you’re here
The greatest travesty of the show is the dearth of Deputy Trio Moments. I would watch 72348 more episodes of the three of them.
I don’t ship Tim/Jimmy, but for some reason I can absolutely see Jimmy developing a huge crush on that pretty, sarcastic Deputy that follows Givens around.
In fact, why don’t more characters have a thing for Tim? I get it, Olyphant’s stupidly attractive, but...I mean...Tim?
Speaking of things, did one of the writer’s have a one for Neal McDonough? Because I noticed that his looks - specifically - are mentioned A. Lot. Not always complimentary, but literally no other guest/reoccurring character is constantly identified by random descriptions of their looks.
How did Goggins not get an award for this? His dialogue alone was impossible to comprendingly speak on a good day.
Everyone in this show is A Mess. Someone please get these darlings the rest and help they need.
Wynn. Duffy.
We tend to think Vasquez kind of lost it in Season 6 (personality and actions a lot more dickish and hostile), but let’s be real here: he is the lone sane person in a village of line-toeing, half-cocked, omission lying nimrods and he probably should’ve lost it seasons before.
I need Rachel and Tim background stories and present day centric-stories so that Raylan has to shut up and deal with their bullshit on occasion.
Helen broke my goddamned heart. even if her taste in men was for shit
What do you think the rest of the country’s reaction to this was? Because there is no way that this much weird, violent goings on (not to much the death rate) in one town in Kentucky over the course of however long it was (I always assumed three years or so) wouldn’t end up eventually making the prime time/online news circuit.
I don’t know how it happened - I blame the banter, it’s one of my achilles heels - but I ended up shipping Tim/Raylan. *sighs knowingly*
In conclusion: More Tim. More Rachel. More Case Shenanigans. And More Team As Family. we need more fic
