but the "news" about the upcoming 🍊🧍shitshow of mid made me feel so ashamed to just roll with whatever ideas I get that it's difficult to overcome

The moment I wanna go "Oh I'll put it together and post it for people to get a little giggle out of", I also go "Oh wait they're endorsing a fucking monster who'd put my life actively at risk if I was living in the US"

Like, in private I can talk about them but there's this level of dissociation that doesn't let me focus on the convo well, even if it's funny unless it's something removed enough (e.g. KISS AUs or other fanwork) for me to not feel "guilty" about liking it around other people (even close friends) or brief enough to transition it into a joke and move onto something else

It'll probably take me some time to get rid of that feeling or get used to it and roll the silly back in (and any KISSposting will either be mocking this situation, something brief or a poor attempt at trying to act like I'm fine with them again)

I don't live in the US and they (bandmates) aren't my loved ones so why the fuck am I feeling like that?
