so we all know the npc jax theory but what if he didnt know aftermath (i might make this into a comic if this gets enough attention)

i think it’s funny how popular the NPC Jax theory is when in this episode it seems like Jax’s mentality is just convincing himself despite how much people try to connect with him, as if he were a PERSON, he convinces himself he isn’t really a human being anymore.

If the Jax npc theory was real, I would want it to happen like this:

Jax knows he is an npc, the others do not, Caine can't tell the difference and has forgotten

Jax has spent all this time trying to make sure Caine doesn't notice the fact that he is an npc

The actual reveal: it happens just before they're sent into another game, everyone is gathered up together, Jax is talking to Pomni about something stupid, arguing.

Caine is arguing with Zooble, not paying attention. Jax says something harmless and throwaway in the background. Zooble starts to answer Caine back.

Caine: Wait...

Camera zooms out behind Caine, to give more of a perspective of Jax and Pomni. The lighting darkens slightly.

Caine's head spins 180° to face Jax, who freezes mid joke.

Caine: What did you say?

Jax doesn't look away from Pomni, but he lets our a small breath.

Jax: Well, F[BLEEP]CK

And then he turns tail and runs

One thing I do think is interesting about Jax as a character is that, IIRC, he has never actually said a swear word- even at his most stressed out with the maid dress the furthest he managed to get was "Heck". So that kind of leads me to think of two possibilities: 1. Despite his desires to maim, murder, and roleplay international terrorism, Jax is enough of a dork to draw the line at profanity.

2. You know how in the new preview it's pointed out Caine can say "ass" uncensored? Jax also dropping an uncensored "ass" while he's in a soundproof room with someone who can connect the dots and a loaded gun.
