I don't make beautiful food. I make food to eat. I'm not a particular fan of veggies even though I know they're good for me 😂. This is my post ice hockey snack. I got home at midnight after playing a couple of games and i was hungry... So I'm eating at 1am. . Because the idea that you shouldn't eat at night because it will "make you fat" is bullshit. Instead, if you're ignoring your hunger signals its putting your body in an energy deficit that forces it to make choices about what to fuel and what not to fuel. . And if you're always following these diet culture mantras and living a constantly underfueled life, the choices your body makes have to potential to affect your long term health, and your fertility. . I choose to eat. I choose to provide my body with the fuel it needs. And I don't always eat "perfectly". I enjoy my food. . I would have had more toast except we ran out 😂.
