Regulus black variants pt 1
Today I watched 6 last episodes of Squid Game because I knew I wouldn't be able to wait for the ending and my GOD I had to at least do some quick sketches to blow off steam cuz boy oh boy was this an emotional rollercoaster...(loved it so much tho, cannot wait for season 2)
A quick drawing of "67". 🦑
I'd like to know what you think about Squid Game. As an old K-Drama viewer, I am quite surprised by the affection of people to this show. When I watched the very first episodes I had no clue that this show would be this popular but as time passed, I started to see lots and lots of post on Instagram and spoilers became inevitable. ಠ◡ಠ
Hi my fellow friends! I am a 21 years old self-taught artist who is struggling to keep inspired. After trying several social media platforms to share my art, I decided to join Tumblr too. I am an university student in junior year and trying to improve my art skills while trying to graduate with good grades. Soo.. nerdy'ish' and artsy'ish' are my vibes. ಠωಠ I hope I can stick around. See you!

Money can’t buy happiness, and while it is true in some cases it’s also no lie that money is the biggest contributor to comfortable living…

You sighed as you waited for the video call to connect. Damn overseas calls. Finally, Minseok’s smiling face filled your screen as he beamed at you. By the looks of the background, he was probably at practice with the boys.
“Jagiya~” he greeted happily. Despite having missed him and being really happy to see his face for the first time in a while, you bit back your smile and frowned at him. You had a little something to discuss with him.
When you didn’t smile back his smile slowly fell away and he looked a little nervous, probably already knowing why you were calling. You raised a brow at him and he cowered a little.
“Guess what arrived at my apartment today,” you asked pointedly, slowly panning your camera away to show a very nonchalant Tan sitting on your couch cleaning her privates. When you turned your phone back to yourself, Minseok was chuckling nervously.
“Minnie, I thought I already told you I couldn’t take care of her while you were away, I don’t have the time. I’m not even sure I’m allowed pets here,” you scolded, more exasperated than angry. When he had asked if you wanted to look after his cat while he was on tour because his parents were unable to this time, you had really wanted to help, but with you being busy with work and school it just wouldn’t be fair to the cat. And like you said, you weren’t sure the apartment was even allowed pets.
“I know, but no one else could and I just couldn’t leave her in a kennel,” he tried, voice begging. “You won’t even know she’s there if you just feed her and give her water, she can totally take care of herself.”
When you didn’t look convinced, Minseok pulled out the secret weapon he knew would always work on you. He smiled cutely and blew you a small kiss through the screen. “Just pretend it’s me being there in spirit, looking after you while I’m away~,” he said, voice smooth and slightly high-pitched to sound cuter.
Feeling a smile threatening to break out, you rolled your eyes. “Stop being so cute,” you grumbled. “I’m trying to be mad at you.”
He just laughed, grinning wider and you and you felt your resolve break just like that. You sighed. The cat probably wouldn’t cause that much trouble and she would be easy enough to hide.
“I hate you,” you sighed as he gave a small cheer of victory. “You so owe me for this.”
“I love you~,” he sing-songed, blowing you another kiss. Someone on his end called out his name and he looked off camera for a second, nodding at whatever they were saying to him. He smiled apologetically at you, “Sorry, but I have to go.”
“It’s okay, you still owe me though,” you smiled, sad he had to leave already. “Love you too.”
The screen went black as he hung up and you put down your phone, looking over at Tan who had curled up to take a nap. Maybe it would be nice to have some company while the boys were away. You knew Tan was as clean as her owner, so you weren’t worried really.
By the time Minseok got back, you and Tan had bonded so much Tan barely spared him a glance as he walked through the door, and you were dying of laughter as he had to get on his knees and beg for her attention. Serves him right.

Jay sighed as he tossed his towel into the hamper of their bathroom, somehow feeling more lethargic after his rather long, hot shower. Their most recent case had been a hard one, involving college student from Canaryville who barely had any familial stability and was now looking at life in prison. It hadn’t been hard for him to make the connection to the kid, knowing that one wrong decision could have landed him in a very similar situation a few years back. God only knew their lives seemed pretty identical otherwise.
He had retreated straight to the shower after they had arrived home with the intention of washing away the case and unloading it from his shoulders. It had either been that or a stiff drink, but the two of them had promised long ago that they would no longer drink their feelings away. So a shower it had been, and though he had been able to accept the outcome of their case, he was still more than ready for the day to be over.
Heading out of the bedroom, Jay couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the sound of metal clanging as he watched Erin put away the last of the cutlery in the kitchen. Like him, she had changed into her typical bed clothes of lounge shorts and loose vest top, hair tied into a high ponytail and looking completely domestic as she turned around to face him with a damp towel in her hands.
“Hey, I didn’t hear you there,” Erin greeted with a small smile, hanging the towel on the back of one of the stools before absentmindedly flinging a hand back towards the now-empty sink. “I did the dishes.”
“So I see. Why?” Jay asked, intrigued. Erin was not the biggest fan of washing up, especially not after work. She would rather dump it all into the dishwasher or leave it until the morning; both of which irritated him. There had definitely been some kinks, an adjustment period of sorts, when they had first moved in together, but they had now fallen into a pattern. And her doing the washing after coming home late from work didn’t fit anywhere into that.
“I wanted to do something nice for you, so I figured making dinner was out of the question,” she replied lightly with a shrug, causing him to smirk in response. “You had a pretty crappy day; I didn’t want to add having to do house chores to that, too.”
