you’re looking for words like egotistical, self centered, one-track minded. narcissism is, as of current day, a clinical term to describe a very debilitating and often life-ruining personality disorder.

my partner has npd. i have suspected npd. i have friends with npd. i can assure you you have no fucking idea what youre talking about.

if a pwNPD relates to Caine or wants to say Caine has NPD, more power to them, seriously. but you dont have NPD and you dont know what you’re fucking talking about.

you’re getting someone acting traditionally narcissistic (egotistical) with actual clinical NPD.

in all frankness self absorption and egotistical tendencies are like. very very watered down traits of NPD and come from intense self worth issues (yes, i know Caine has self worth issues, i don’t care) and a need for attention more than anything. like seeing a character who is an arrogant POS and going “they have NPD” is low as fuck.

also. i reiterate. he’s a FUCKING AI. he cant have a personality disorder he’s a fucking computer.

coming back to say hi and to do my due diligence on asking about your disabilities. is there any particular aspect of it you find the easiest to talk about? to others or just internally. what’s some progress you’ve done in the past year? no matter how big or small

also quick disclaimer hiiii my name is aimee (any prns, my emoji is 🦼) and i hold all our disability confidence and knowledge!!

the easiest thing for me to talk about is kind of hard because i dont necessarily feel like its hard to talk about any of what i personally deal with? the only thing i can think of right now is, with our EDS specifically it causes issues that are “TMI” to talk about (and im not going to talk ab that without consent) that a lot of people wouldn’t guess that it causes! i find that aspect harder to talk about due to the nature of it so im kind of answering your question backwards lol. i guess the easiest thing to talk about is what accoms i use and how it afflicts my daily life! this kind of goes for our mental illnesses and disorders too

some progress is we’ve gotten way more comfortable w using our physical aids as well as did a lot of internal work to learn how to deal with our DPD and HPD specifically! obviously we’re still learning but we have a really great and patient support system that im really thankful for

one of my favorite disability related moments of this year was talking to our partner (@rab-ler) about how he feels about us using our wheelchair in public and learning more about its perspective on it :) long story short hx made us feel very loved and cared for

colors: dusty desaturated red and sometimes like. nature colors? like plant green and creek blue and wood and leaves brown

smells: wet fall leaves. and wet logs that have that weird slimy fungus on them (THIS IS POSITIVE). you’re very wet smelling. you also smell like rabbit pelt

loving the new layout btw

I got a notif from a like, noticed you had a new pfp, and was SHELLSHOCKED when I saw the orange theming

(not to say I didn’t like the old one, but I also love this one)
