In case you haven't heard, the NYT Tech Guild is on strike and trying to get a fair contract.
They are asking us to support their picket line by NOT using the NYT Games or Cooking Apps.
More information on how to support the strike below.

If you would like to follow their strike efforts you can find updates on Instagram or TikTok
DON'T CROSS PICKET LINES
They have been kind enough to create a Strike Friendly version of some of the NYT Games that we are allowed to play. They've even included some recipes for NYT Cooking users! You can enjoy them here!
DONATE
If you find yourself able to financially support the strike fund, they are accepting donations here.

For my NYT games nerds, the NYT Tech Guild is on strike - and they made a games page so you can have a good time in these dark days AND not break the picket line.
How to support the NY Times Tech Guild Strike
"We are the 600+ unionized tech workers of The New York Times — software engineers, product managers, data analysts, and designers. We power games like Wordle, Connections and The Crossword. We bring new recipes to your pocket and new Audio formats that make it easier to connect with the journalism we publish. We build, support and grow the numerous NYT websites and apps you know and love.
For over two years we have been bargaining for our first contract. At every turn, NYT management has dragged its feet, disrespected us, and even committed unfair labor practices (ULPs). We need a contract NOW!"
To support the tech guild, play games on their union built site instead of the NY Times App

UPDATE: We are officially on a multi-day ULP strike. We gave @nytimes management months of not… Vicki Crosson needs your support for Support

Doing both the NYT Crossword Puzzle and Spelling Bee are part of my nightly routine, but giving it up is a small price to pay. Tech guild gotta get paid!
As much as I think it's cool the NYT Tech Guild made games for their strike this is the most extremely blatant AI building I've ever seen

NYT Tech Guild have built their own games. Play their games while they strike without being a scab! They have their own cookbook too!
