Okay! So I’m back at it with the Blaise/Ron or Ron/Blaise ideas!!
I was literally on TikTok watching edits of Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier when I started thinking of how DEADLY he is even before he became the Winter Soldier - Comic Book Bucky Barnes in the army was literally DEADLY, guys! Y’all don’t understand.
Anyway!! I’m getting off topic!
So, being down BAD for Blaise/Ron, I made it fit for them cause I basically have like a master degree in that now - turning everything into Blaise/Ron. I was thinking about Blaise and how intimidating he could be because of his rather evident poker-face that nobody could break, not even his flings and whatnot.
He has a crush on Ron Weasley, right? And Ron doesn’t know about it, ONLY Blaise’s friends do - Draco, Theo, and Pansy - so they just casually bring him up in conversation now. The thing is, they NEVER say how scary Blaise can be cause they, obviously, don’t want to deter Ron away from the guy. So, they simply say things like, “oh, yeah, Blaise is back from Italy” or “Blaise goes to that restaurant cause he loves the food” or “Blaise wouldn’t mind meeting you” cause, let’s say they haven’t seen one another since Hogwarts.
Ron has HEARD OF Blaise, even from their time in Hogwarts, but literally never had a conversation with the guy - at least to his knowledge or recollection (Blaise would say otherwise) - so he just shrugs off the comments and continues on with his life.
It isn’t until one day when Blaise is introduced to him at his work cause the man is a Curse-Breaker (somehow in some way he has not been teamed with the Aurors, but let’s just say he does that on purpose cause he is worried about scaring off the redhead) and they do a mission together.
Ron, obviously not knowing about Blaise having a reputation for being rather scary and intimidating, casually calls Blaise by random nicknames whenever he wants on their mission - think like “Blaisey” and “Blaise the Curse-Breaker Zabini” and “Blaisey Boy” and maybe even something like “Blitzy” or something along those lines - to which Blaise just DOESN’T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! All of his past flings knew to NEVER give him nicknames cause he would always give them this rather deadly piercing stare that they knew not to get attached and also to NEVER do that again, but he DOESN’T tell Ron not to. No glare, no warning, NOTHING! He just lets it happen.
Queue, them getting maybe close or something like work friends when Ron is like getting comfortable some more, even though he’s still oblivious to the man’s feelings toward him, so he starts to get rather touchy with Blaise because whenever he’s close with his friends, he gets comfortable and rather touchy: He hugs Harry, he always rests his head on Hermione’s lap to get some head scratches, he snuggles with Theo and Draco whenever they have their weekly hang out at either of their places, and so forth. So, he starts doing this to Blaise: He touches his face because sometimes he claims he’s “drawing his face” and he’ll hug his arm whenever he wants cause he gets tired being an Auror and whatnot; he’ll literally jump on his back when he claims his feet are hurting him and wants to be carried to their destination - which might just be his office, the pub where they’re meeting up with their friends, or whatever; Ron will literally snuggle with him cause he is tired from training or maybe he wants some head scratches and whatnot.
No matter what he does, Blaise NEVER STOPS HIM!! He never glares or doesn’t go through with it or anything. So Ron literally isn’t scared of him or anything cause Blaise lets him!!
Then, one day, they’re just hanging out with one another when Ron is “painting his face” with his fingers or leaning on him cause he’s tired when Blaise suddenly gets called for some work thing and excuses himself to take the call. That’s when someone walks over to Ron and is looking at him in awe and almost like he’s some sort of dragon tamer or something. It eventually leads to the conversation being very confusing for Ron, because he gets almost “interrogated” per se by the stranger who keeps saying stuff like “Blaise Zabini lets you do that stuff to him??? How? Why? What did you do?? You must be an absolute monster in bed for him to allow you to do that. I bet he met his match with you” and other stuff like that. And when the person sees Blaise coming back, he runs away before he gets vaporized by his terrifying stare, which leaves Ron utterly confused and also kind of shy after hearing everything that Blaise has done in the past. Because Blaise, in his eyes, is literally such a softy. He cuddles, he may put on this facade that he’s annoyed even though he lets it happen, and he sometimes even smiles or laughs at the things Ron does to him.
When Blaise returns to their little outing, Ron can’t help but ask about it, to which Blaise battles with lying or being honest. He eventually goes for the latter and says that he lets Ron because he’s the first person who isn’t scared of him - which is, technically true, but not the entire truth about his massive crush on the man who is clearly as oblivious as Harry Potter. Ron then goes on this little rant because he’s genuinely baffled by that notion - saying things “scared of you? What on Earth would I be scared of you for?? You’re like a baby crup or a little niffler. You’re not scary. Who said you’re scary, Blaise? Do you want me to say something? I’m very good at confrontation, believe it or not.” He affirmed because he considers Blaise a friend now and he would do anything for his friends. Blaise can’t help but look amused for the defense because, in all honesty, he is at fault for making people think that by never letting them do the things he allows Ron to do simply because he only loves Ron.
But anyway, somehow in some way, a few days later, Ron eventually finds out about Blaise’s feelings but surprisingly not from their friends. From past flings and whatnot. They literally keep coming up to him, saying “it’s such a nice surprise to see Blaise Zabini find the one, and sure, it hurt when I wasn’t his exception, or any of us, really, but I can tell that he was simply waiting for you. It’s written all over his face. He’s clearly in love” and just stuff like that. Maybe by like, the 10th person that comes up to him with a very similar speech, it finally clicks. So, finally, Ron confronts him and asks for the truth, if Blaise is actually as “in love” with him as everyone else claims, but Blaise still keeps his composure and is kind of being a little shit by asking, “what brought this up” when Ron takes a step closer to him, repeating himself, “I asked you a question, Blaise Zabini. I want an answer” he said, his tone rather intimidating to the both of them with how affirmative he was, but then he continues speaking when he knows he can’t break that man without spilling first, so he adds, “because if it’s not true, then I guess I have to find someone else cause I am starting to fall foe you, Blaise. Maybe not love or anything, but you have to give me a chance to be where you are, if you do actually feel that way” and that’s when Blaise’s rather unbreakable exterior snaps because he looks so relieved, thankful, and almost out of breath as he finally relaxes and smiles. “I love you, Ronald Weasley. I do. I can never get over you. I promise” he spoke certainly as he moved closer to kiss him and also melted into it because this is exactly what he had wanted since he could remember.
When they do end up getting together, of course Ron is absolutely downright arrogant and annoying about being the ONLY ONE Blaise allows to do those things with, but Blaise doesn’t care because he absolutely loves spoiling Ron. He just smiles, kisses him, and pulls him closer to keep holding him, while their friends act annoyed by rolling their eyes or fake gagging or pleading with Blaise to stop allowing Ron to be so smug, but they all know their friends also love it. They love finally seeing Blaise be happy and whatnot, while Ron is literally never going to let Blaise live this down.
It is exactly what Ron wants, though. He wants to keep bringing it up and teasing his boyfriend because that just means later, when they’re alone at either of their places, Blaise is going to have his way with him and basically use him like he is one of his favorite dolls or toys with how absolutely primal and animalistic Blaise gets with him - it’s literally downright possessive because Blaise just finally has Ron and wants to almost hide him away from the world until Ron literally doesn’t want anyone except Blaise. But that’s a whole different thing, so Ron still gets absolutely spoiled, no matter what, by Blaise because who is Blaise to turn down anyone as beautiful and perfect as Ronald Weasley??
Okay, that’s just my idea. Again, it would be a dream come true if @daddiesdrarryy could write this or even incorporate this into a Blaise/Ron fic, but it is what it is.
