Tbh I think we need more appreciation for the kind of whumpee in between sweet innocent cinnamon roll whumpee and war criminal type whumper turned whumpee. Where’s the love for lowkey an asshole whumpee. They haven’t really done anything that wrong but man are they kinda mean and a little unpleasant to be around. Especially good if the whumper has been a target of whumpee’s rudeness. Maybe they deserved the first punch a little bit but definitely not the hundredth.
Also very nice when paired with the whumpee getting tortured into being an obedient compliant people pleasing mess to the point that they’re basically completely unrecognizable <2 And the relief the caretaker feels when the whumpee snarks back at them for the first time since they got out!
