🖊 Zern Zern Zern

Zern Mihldrasi is the illegitimate son of esteemed archeomancer Fahaudil Mihldrasi. His mother is an unknown human woman who Fahaudil had an affair with, cheating on his wife, and nine months later an infant half elf was left on the Mihldrasi Manors doorstep.

To say Zern has had a difficult childhood is to undersell the experience entirely. To Fahaudil and his wife he was a constant reminder of Fahaudil’s infidelity, causing a rift between them, but they saw a greater dishonor in not providing for him.

To add insult to injury; the Fahaudil family and their children (Zern has three half sisters, all at least 150 years older than him) are all established mages and as Zern grew up it became clear the young boy was born with absolutely zero aptitude for magic. He’s a clever young boy who grasps the theory side extremely well, he just cannot tap into the weave and cast spells.

Zern is the black sheep of the Mihldrasi family, their shameful little secret that no one has any expectations of no matter how hard he tries to impress them. He’s had access to the finest education and tutors. The finest clothes and the best food, but he doesn’t really think his father loves him and is more focused on making sure Zern doesn’t embarrass the family name.

That’s why he stole the sword from his fathers basement. He knows his father safe-keeps several items in the manor basement that are either to display later or that they’re too dangerous to display. Zern saw it once, after he snuck into the basement as a child. A sword that’s said to grant power to people it chooses. He snuck down once again and struck a deal with Occulus, the Six-Armed Blade.

A bad idea maybe, but you must understand he was desperate. The entrance exams were the next day and he HAD to get into Strixhaven. All the Mihldrasis have gotten into Strixhaven. He couldn’t pass them without being able to channel magic.

How was he to know that the sword he’s now bound to soul and mind belonged to one Extus Narr, an evil mage who once tried to bring down all of Strixhaven. Who’s artifacts were handed out to several of the mage emeritus of the school to guard. And that meant he not only stole a sword from his strict father, but from the very school he fought so desperately to get into. Not to mention there’s other interested parties wishing have Extus Narr’s sword for their own means.

About Him: My original Assassin. I first played the game in like 2013? somewhere around there, but it was too much for my laptop to take and I had to focus on school. Ashanam is the only survivor of that era. 

He has your typical slave background for an Inquisitor, but in the years since I stopped playing up until last year I would make up that the Dark Council fell to the Republic and that he had been captured while helping his apprentices escape. Since being Sith was never his idea, he was open to being ‘rehabilitated’ by the Jedi. Finn was the first Jedi that treated him like a person instead of a feral animal, and because Ashanam behaved around him, Finn ended up being in charge of his recovery. Eventually they ended up together, even if it was a secret from the rest of the Jedi, but my imaginings never made it beyond that. So he’s a sort of AU Inquisitor.

About Him: He had an extreme falling out with his family on Csilla which is why he abandoned his Chiss name, taking only the root ‘Jet’, and literally making a new name for himself as an Imperial citizen. Before joining the Empire, he’d worked in the secret police of the Aristocracy, so Imperial Intelligence were quick to take him as soon as he registered. Joining the Empire was the first thing he really chose for himself, so for a long time he was very loyal.

That loyalty was shaken by Watcher X and the plot with Darth Jadus, and then fully broken when he discovered the origin of his mind control. If the SIS hadn’t used the keyword on him, he might have eventually joined them for real, but all that went out the door as soon as they uttered that word. At the end of his class story, he essentially told both the Empire and the Republic to go fuck themselves and took the black codex for himself, becoming a sort of galactic Batman hunting down corruption on both sides.

At the beginning of the Shadow of Revan, he didn’t trust Theron as far as he could throw him, but eventually the idiot managed to squirm his way into Jet’s cold, dead heart where he stayed all the way through KotFE and KotET. The Crisis on Umbara nearly broke him, and it took a very long time for Theron to earn his forgiveness, but they did get back together and ended up married.

About Him: Currently the farthest toon I have, he’s finished all the story content so far and is the closest thing I have to a main.

He’s a very easy going guy. Honorable, loyal, practical, but kinda gruff and quiet

He was born on Mirial to a family with a proud line of Republic officers. He enlisted as soon as possible and had made it to the rank of lieutenant in the SpecOps division before The Incident occurred. Thanks to a commander’s corruption, he watched most of his squad die and lost both of this legs. When the brass failed to charge the officer in question, he left immediately after his recovery. With the skill-set he had, becoming a bounty hunter was a logical choice for him, and he quickly found that he really enjoyed the hunt. His family, including a younger sister who’s also a soldier, don’t approve, and after he starts getting notoriety in the Great Hunt, they stop talking to him all together.

He doesn’t like working for the Empire, but knows beggars can’t be choosers, especially after Serros makes him the Rpublic’s most wanted. But Darth Tormen was a bastard, he choked Mako, and from that second on Caden wanted to kill him, so the Chancellor really didn’t need to persuade him at all, honor be damned.

The Revan bullshit and Ziost were a whirlwind that he really wasn’t being paid enough for. He’s 36 by the time the Eternal Empire shit kicks off. Arcann is the first guy to defeat him in a really, really long time, so that gets his attention on Asylum, even through the whole being-stabbed business. He bonds with Senya really quick, likes her sense of honor and ruthless efficiency when it counts, so when she said that there was something worth saving in Arcann, he believes her. He lets them go, buys them time on Voss, and later accepts him into the Alliance. He still didn’t trust him, but he couldn’t ignore the usefulness of having an extremely powerful Force-user on your side, especially when facing down Vaylin. Helping to defeat his sister and then his father did wonders for Caden’s opinion of him, but it still takes a long time before either of them admit to any feelings. By the end of The Nathema Conspiracy, they are secretly together with only Senya, Lana, and Theron knowing about their relationship for now, but they plan on eventually being completely open about it

I love you. :3 A warning: I’m gonna splurge.

Katla isn’t a speciality trainer - she’s a jack-of-all-trades with many different types of Pokemon, but she tends to be seen as a Fire type due to her fiery personality - that and she’s very close to Kabu as well.

As a result, there’s very few Pokemon she dislikes - although she doesn’t tend to keep many Fighting type Pokemon on her teams.

Kat doesn’t tend to nickname her Pokemon, but those she does are usually named for special reasons, such as Phoenix, her first Pokemon Blaziken, and Valkyrie, her Perrserker who distinguished herself during Opal’s Gym battle.

Katla appears to have a habit of keeping Pokemon who are bigger, scarier, and much more dangerous than she is, yet they treat their trainer with every bit of softness and affection as she lavishes on them.

As a result Katla’s Pokemon are rather protective of her, and will escape their Pokeballs on their own to try and protect her or aid her if she’s particularly distressed. A couple have a particularly bad habit of doing it, one of which is her Incineroar, who got very close to having a set-to with Nanu, after he kissed Katla by surprise and it didn’t go well. (Incineroar still holds a grudge against the Kahuna even now.)

Kat is very close with her Pokemon, to the point she hates seeing them hurt in a Pokemon match, often wincing and flinching in solidarity. It’s possibly why her strategy is to hit hard and fast, eliminating the opponent before they have a chance to strike back.

She knows it is a potential weakness, and tries to not let it get to her. Unfortunately, it was exploited on one occasion, to devastating effect. Only three people have ever seen the rage it rose her to, and they all wish never to see it again.

Her Pokemon are as close as family to her - Kat showing you her Pokemon (and she has a lot) is a sign she loves and trusts you, and wishes her Pokemon to see the same. It also means she’s very, very honoured if other people’s Pokemon accept her alongside their trainers (especially her lover’s Pokemon - she would die for them).

Taking advantage of the fact my day off is Watcher Wednesday(YAY) to answer these.

It’s turned into a fun habit/hobby that she does to keep her hands busy, but Emiri making the macrame bracelets started as giving her something to focus on that wasn’t her nightmarish surroundings. She made her first ones within a month or so of being kidnapped, using threads from her shirt. It calmed her down and gave her something other than wild ‘what if’s to focus on.  Also, she doesn’t remember this part, but her mom’s the one who taught her how to do it.

Charity is the kind of person who will absolutely let spiders take over her house, simply because she feels bad about disturbing them to put them outside. And heaven forbid she actually kill one.

Hal is an animal lover of the Edér Teylecg variety. i.e., he doesn’t care if it’s dangerous or man-eating or whatever, if it looks fluffy he wants to pet it, like, yesterday. (C’mon, the loremaster’s first companion is a frigging bear) Unlike a certain scruffy Eoran blond, however, Hal’s never been bit. Or scratched. Or endangered in any way, shape, or form. Animals love him. His bear regularly–happily–serves as pillow/backrest, the raven brings him shiny trinkets, and the hedgehog’s favorite spot is riding on his shoulder. He’s like a Disney princess or something. :P

I had a much longer ask to send you but then my app crashed... Anyways mini oc ramble about two characters from the cast of a minecraft-based world I made recently!!

So this is Rune the only confirmed main character!! They're a 6w5 694 Farlands Enderian. He has some non-farlands traits though which is rich family doesn't really like + along with other undeveloped stuff and a up in them disowning him + also giving him quite a bit of trauma. Once his good friend Ivee sees how harmful it his for him to live in the old family home after that she offers to let him live in the part bakery- part house she runs!! He really enjoys it there + helps out both because they like baking and also feel the need to "pay her back" for her kindness. They also have an apprenticeship with the jewlers, and go to school with their best friend Will!! And the priest is trying to get him to join the clergy alongside his best friend because of how religious they are. They have alot going on ngl + like his whole character arc is literally him learning he doesn't have to do everything 24/7 and can actually not overwork himself without losing their friends + safety.

And well a completely minor character this is Teebo!! He's just a human and I think a Type 5. He's very gnc which we love, and also Will's other best friend since childhood. He also becomes friends with Rune during the latter bit of their story + as someone who also takes on alot of projects but healthy is a big part in helping Rune w/ his arc. Otherwise he's just here chilling on the ship Will's family runs and completely girlbossing it, especially since he's not only one of the best carpenters/engineers on the ship but also training in the quarter master duties. He's also the younger brother of Ivee!!

They're kinda really underdeveloped right now + I can see slot of my accidentally inspirations in them, but im hoping that once I figure out some more backstory bits + write their story in true panther fashion they'll become their own characters + also much more developed.
