HI OH MY GOD THIS ASK. Yes . my enfield is such a freak ive been itching to talk abt this guy for a while. yapsesh incoming sry

design wise hes. pretty gross. the reason he has three faces / three heads is because the potion failed on him lol.... enfields idea for said potion was for it to create two separate versions of himself---a 'good' one and a 'bad' one. the good one being a glorified, just. better version of himself while the other being a persona he could just project all his urges, issues, and otherwise negative traits onto. his og plans were to be reformed as the better one while having the choice of turning into the other occasionally,. he's a precursor to heidi (heidi jekyll. My jekyll-based oc lol) in this sense, being the blueprint to her & the creation of hyde**

anyways. enfield never truly perfected the concoction himself.., unfortunately strange guys w/ strange ideas are much too eager to down the first chemical soup they see. so he kind of experiments on himself, drinking an impure version of the potion. he ultimately makes 2 key errors: instead of splitting into two, it (almost) splits him into three*,.... and secondly the process never fully goes thru, leaving him as a horrid amalgam of all three forms. he ends up diy amputating off his extra limbs but cant risk his head

etc info but in the end hes so grossed out by himself that he isolates himself for. like. ever. and its why he looks ABYSMAL now. his team doesnt want to deal with his dirty business so ends up trying to cover it up, saying that the potion killed him instead

*even if his potion went thru he'd. Still be dissatisfied since he himself wouldnt be the 'good' guy, he'd still be a loser;p

as for the latter question, i guess i wanted him to resemble novel-jekyll a little(?). though i . dont really know how well that came off ...... but to be clear none of my classic lit ocs are direct iterations/adaptations of their src/inspo characters, theyre their own guys in their own little world lololol

**enfield overshadows all of the j&h-based characters (heidi, hyde, utterson, lanyon), in regards to the first two especially. despite how deeply buried his tracks were, heidi finds a literal blueprint of the potion (via his mass of notes) and ends up being the one who 'perfects it', or at least perfected it as much as she could. ++ hes a part of uttersons ext family (purple color pallet ties them together... also heidi's blue + hydes red), and his insecurities and urges somewhat take form as lanyon and hyde respectively. this isnt abt them tho so i wont add more abt them hahajshshaj

in summary hes gross bc he fucked up the potion; hes a chemist bc (ironically?) hes supposed to be 'more jekyll' than heidi is .... i hope this post is coherent. Im a chronic talker so im. sorry for the mass of text !!!!!

🐝 The Bianca and the Bees! 🐝

An explanation on Bianca’s association with Bees: Bianca is represented by the symbol of a bee, as seen on her coffin icon. Why? Firstly, as a play on word/pun of the pronunciation of her name Bee-an-kuh. Secondly, because of an odd phenomena of bees gravitating to her presence, something not influenced by magic. And thirdly, her continued love and respect for bees, shown through her rescue and rehabilitation of injured or dying bees. Something that the first years suspect may be a reason why bees gravitate or are drawn to her presence.
