anyway shoutout to ocado for having sooooooooooo many features that make grocery shopping easier for the permanently distracted and hating grocey shopping autistic adhder. i can choose which products to add to my cart automatically each week. i can make multiple different shopping lists for different needs. there are soooooooooo many dietary filters. now i learned you can also ask them to reserve the same delivery slot each week oh my GOD i almost forgot to book our shop this week due to stress and distraction (stresstraction) so this feature would probably actually really help in ensuring we have food in the house that we can eat. its more pricey than getting all ur basics from lidl and asda but its paying the adhd tax upfront cus i actually have more energy now from not having to fit my life around when do i need to drive to the shops next. i have more of an incentive to eat fresh fruit and veg and integrate them into our routine cus i know i have another packet of berries coming next week. they also take plastic bags and give you 10p off for every bag you give them which is SO USEFUL in not getting your place cluttered with tons of bags. and their selection is ridiculous. a lil overhwleming at first cus sooooo many things decision paralysis but with my partners help we got it set up really nicely now and it just solves soooo many groceryshop related problems for us. easily the most accessible online grocery shop experience

Waiting for Ocado: A Play by One Minute Money Magazine
[Ocado is a large online UK grocer and, in these troubled times, even getting on to their website has become a major hassle.]
Scene One takes place in the flat shared by Don, Sue and James. Don and Sue are at the kitchen table looking at their laptop.
Sue: All we’ve got in the flat are a box of teabags and enough milk for three cups. Not sure where James is, but let’s have our last brew as soon as he gets back.
Don: Don’t worry. Everything will be alright when the Ocado website comes up - only 2 hours and 45 minutes waiting time left.
Sue: Yes Don, but it said that this morning before it crashed again.
Don: Don’t worry, it will be up again soon. But where could James be?
Sue: I don’t know. He just smiled and said “see you later”. Oh DAMN, the site’s crashed again.
Don: Don’t ...
He is interrupted by James arriving with two large shopping bags.
James: Hi folk, I’m just back from Sainsbury’s in the High Street. We’ve got enough food to get us through the next couple of days.
Don: And by then everything will be alright.

Japan’s biggest supermarket group, Aeon Co Ltd has hired British online grocery pioneer Ocado to develop its e-commerce business, hoping to fend off rivals such as Amazon as more customers buy groceries online.
Does anybody know where one can get tater tots in the UK? The only place I am finding is ocado and you have to have a £40 minimum spend for delivery and I don't want that much 🤔 why is the world denying me?
Former NBA player John Salley, who follows a plant-based diet, has celebrated the opening of a new vegan restaurant, named Ocado.
The restaurant is described as an “American fusion restaurant with Mediterranean and Latin inspired dishes.” 😋
