Something that Bucky wasn't a huge fan of was the holiday season. He didn't really have many people to spend it with, and even then, he still tried to avoid interacting with it as much as possible. The lights and commotion going on out there sent his senses into overdrive and caused him to have an internal meltdown.

He was just sitting down on his couch when there was a knock at the door. He ignored it at first, thinking he was just hearing things. Then it sounded again. And then his phone lit up. Who the hell was trying to get ahold of him so badly?

Bucky groaned slightly, got up, and walked silently over to the door, fully prepared to walk back to the couch and ignore whoever was on the other side of that door. But he was surprised when he looked through the peephole and saw who it was.

"What?" he asked as he opened the door. "Don't you have anything better to be doing tonight?"
