I have so much love for Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus Series. I fell terribly in love for Garrett, Logan and of course, Dean. I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars and I must say that The Score is my favorite among the 3 published books. I AM SOOOO EXCITED TO READ TUCKER’S STORY! Dean and Allie’s story was actually unexpected… It is one of the best stories I have read. Don’t get me wrong, I love The Deal and The Mistake just fine but The Score is different from the rest of the series.

“I’m not ready to be with anyone else yet.” “Sure you are. Seriously, just find yourself a rebound.”  Dean whips up his arm. “I volunteer as tribute.”

Dean Di Laurentis is a Hockey Hottie, Ladies Man and THE King of One Night Stands. Dean is the guy who almost has everything and he gets what he wants… especially girls. He is the kind of guy who can get any girl he wanted because most of them were just throwing themselves at him. He tends to sleep with any girl… well, until that fateful night with Allie Hayes happened.

“All my senses are filled with her—her sounds, her smell, her touch. Her.”

Allison Jane “Allie” Hayes is a broken girl who just ended a long-term serious relationship with her boyfriend, Sean. Allie is the type of girl who doesn’t just sleep with someone. She doesn’t do casual sex ever and that wild rebound sex is definitely the thing that she doesn’t need. But after that night with Dean, he’s all that she can think about.

“I’m a card-carrying member of Team Boyfriend, and after last night, I can honestly say that Team One-Night-Stand sucks balls.”

The Score is the best installment in the series. I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, though but for me, this is the best.

I’m quite sure that I have read something similar to this story line before like you know, i-fell-in-love-with-my-bestfriend’s-girlfriend’s-bestfriend, or fix-me-i-am-broken or the one-night-stand kind of things but there’s really something about Elle Kennedy’s writing style which will make you want to know more. The Score is a funny read, there were no dull moments. I always laugh whenever I read Dean’s complete name—the long version, as in Dean Sebastian Kendrick Heyward Di Laurentis—because I remember Garrett saying that it was a good thing that he was the only “Dean” in their group at least they don’t have to call him “Di Laurentis”. K. Not funny. But anyway, this book is really interesting. I was laughing, smiling, swooning, hurting and falling in love over again while reading the book. I also can’t help but notice how the characters of the stories matured together with the story itself. I liked the way Allie and Dean’s tale progressed from being fling into a serious relationship.

I hated how Dean handled Beau’s death, though. I hated how he dwells into it and just let it destroy him and his relationship with Allie.

I liked Allie, for being such an understanding girlfriend. I loved that she gave their relationship with Dean. It was really a brave step for both of them—Allie, giving their relationship a break and Dean, giving Allie the space he knew they both need.

They were able to find what they really want and that was when they realized that they can’t live without each other.

I was a bit sad that he chose to be an instructor instead of being a lawyer though, but I love him for living the life he wanted to live. So, there you go! I recommend this to everyone!
