Mohgfest is an 18+ fan event for Elden Ringâs Mad Luminary, Mohg. By participating in Mohgfest, you agree that you have read, understood, and will abide by Tumblrâs community content policies. If you are found to be in violation of Tumblrâs community or content policies you will be banned and reported. In addition, you agree that are over 18, that you have read and understand the Mohgfest rules and agree to abide by them, and that you may encounter fictional content you find offensive or distasteful.
Tag your work accurately so that others can choose whether to engage with it, and apply the adult community label where appropriate. Do not deliberately engage with content that you find offensive. Moderators will be reviewing submissions to Mohgfest, but our mods are people and sometimes we make mistakes. If you believe banned or illegal content has been posted to Mohgfest, or a work is inappropriately tagged, or if you have reason to believe someone is deliberately abusing the rules of Mohgfest, please contact the mod team via Tumblr ask.
To participate in Mohgfest, participants must have a Tumblr account. Anonymous submissions are not accepted at this time. Posts can be submitted directly to the Mohgfest blog, or made on your own blog with Mohgfest tagged. If a moderator reviews and posts or reblogs your post, it's accepted! If a post is tagged for Mohgfest but is not featured on the Mohgfest blog as a post or reblog, please assume it has not been checked by a moderator. We cannot guarantee that we will see posts we are tagged in or that they will be reblogged and featured, but we will try.
Mohgfest accepts SFW and NSFW content complying with Tumblrâs content guidelines. In the case of photography, only safe for work content is allowed. All content submitted should be of your own creation: AI generated artwork or fics are not accepted. Fanart, fics, character playlists, and photography of cosplay or crafts are acceptable submissions. If youâre not sure whether something youâd like to submit is allowed, please send the mod team an Ask.Â
Darker themes are allowed so long as they are appropriately tagged and labelled. Please see âbanned contentâ for details on what Mohgfest does not allow.Â
If you would like to link to something offsite that is not allowed under Tumblrâs community guidelines, submit a link with appropriate tags and the adult community label applied to the post. Do not link to adult affiliate sites or illegal content; posts found to be violating this rule will be rejected or removed, and reported. See Tumblrâs adult content policy regarding offsite links if further detail is necessary â weâve copied it for reference at the bottom of this post.Â
Banned content and behavior:Â
Mohgfest does not accept any content depicting real life hate groups, even in a fictional context, nor any content condoning, encouraging, or glorifying real-life crimes. If images of abusive material are submitted (images or video of real people, images of real gore, shock images, or similar subject matter), they will be reported to Tumblr and to the proper authorities.
CSAM is not allowed. Photography of children in suggestive or sexual situations will be reported and their submitters banned.
Illustrations or writing of fictional characters are not defined as CSAM under USA law, and will not be considered as such by mods.Â
If the moderators of Mohgfest find evidence that a participant has been involved in harassment (defined here as implied or explicitly unwanted forms of contact with another user including name-calling, hate mail, directing others to harass a third party, perpetuating blocklists, or similar unacceptable behaviours) within the last two years they may be banned from the event.
Mohgfest complies with Tumblrâs community content policies. Submissions found in violation of Tumblrâs policies will be removed or reported as necessary. Tumblrâs policy on mature content, gore, and harassment as of January 2nd, 2023 has been copied below for reference.
Sexually Explicit Material. Visual depictions of sexually explicit acts (or content with an overt focus on genitalia) are not allowed on Tumblr. That includes pictures, videos, GIFs, drawings, CGI, or anything similar. Historically significant art that you may find in a mainstream museum and which depicts sex actsâsuch as from Indiaâs Ĺuáš ga Empireâare now allowed on Tumblr with proper labeling.
Nudity and other kinds of adult material are generally welcome. Weâre not here to judge your art, we just ask that you add a Community Label to your mature content so that people can choose to filter it out of their Dashboard if they prefer.
You have the option to add a community label when making a new post, reblogging a post, or editing an existing post. Depending on your content, you can label it as generally mature or choose a specific category such as âSexual Themesâ if your post contains sexually suggestive subject matter.
Violent Content and Threats, Gore and Mutilation. Donât post content which includes violent threats toward individuals or groups - this includes threats of theft, property damage, or financial harm. Donât post violent content or gore just to be shocking. Donât showcase the mutilation or torture of human beings, animals (including bestiality), or their remains. Donât post content that encourages or incites violence, or glorifies acts of violence or the perpetrators.
Harassment. Donât engage in targeted abuse, bullying, or harassment. Donât engage in the unwanted sexualization or sexual harassment of others. If someone is sending you unwanted messages, or reblogging your posts in an abusive way, we encourage you to be proactive. Report them, and block the hell out of them. And if someone blocks you, donât attempt to circumvent the block feature or otherwise try to communicate with them.

ZINE RULES GENERAL- Keep djwifi the main subject of your piece as this zine is about them. Refrain from making them background characters or shifting the focus onto other characters you may include.Â
-Please keep your pieces angst free (unless it's resolved by the end OR hurt/comfort), since we want this zine to be as wholesome as possible!Â
-If your piece is going to be an au, please leave space for the information to be provided.Â
-Deadline is May 22nd, so we can have the whole thing completed by June 1st.Â

 ARTISTS- The Illustration submissions will be 2480 pixels x 3508 pixels, 300 DPI in portrait mode. Since it's going to be a digital only release and weâre not worried about being printer friendly we are going to go with RGB for the richest color on screen.Â
-If you submit an illustration that is not done digitally, the scan must be clear and the file the size the text indicates aboveÂ
 WRITERS- Your submission must be over 1000 words in length but no longer than 2000! If it's off by a few hundred that's totally fine, but we'd like to avoid having to ask to trim.Â
-Don't be afraid to ask someone to read over your written project for you. In fact, we highly encourage it! Project betas are availableÂ
Failure to abide by these rules result in one warning by the admins and then a boot from the discord and the network. Don't worry, they're easy!
1. Don't lie about your age. This is a network meant for older fans and we like to keep our space that way!
2. Don't offer unsolicited criticism, send hate, or bully anyone. If someone asks for criticism, by all means, give it to them! Otherwise if you don't like a fic, don't read it.
3. Don't be racist, homophobic, biphobic, or gross. Some of us write mxm or fxf fics, some of us are poc and lgbt and this is a no tolerance rule, this one gets no warning.
4. We do not write smut for under 18 idols. This is pretty straightforward.
5. Don't be an asshole. If you aren't a fan of a certain group, live and let live. We are multifandom and proud.
