Usually my terrible old men have some kinda Nasty Appeal, sad to say this old man is a more classic of evil wizard, very little charm, lots of unpleasantness.

A steadfast and loyal servant Ogrel is the last remaining member of Urlac's personal court. And has charged himself with restoring the body and power of his dark ruler.

For decades he has toiled within the confines of the Kingdom in Nowhere - his skin gone pale and his body fragile to the light of the underworld after such a prolonged time in Nowhere, such that he cannot leave its shadowy depths. While he remains at the palace weaving ancient magics, he uses the likes of followers like Geayu and Sheena to gather sacrifices as is required to ressurect Urlac using one of the sorcerer's own spells.

He is a cold and heartless man, who cares not for anything but the return of his master. Not even his master's daughter Nenna, whom he has also been charged to care for, can sway him from his single minded path.

And he is Certainly not going to let one measly little girl and her motley crew ruin what he's worked so hard to achieve.

B U T!!!!!!!!!!#that story was heavily Influenced by Dragon's Daughter #specifically the setting #and he basically took the place of Urlac in that story as the Vampire King in place of the Evil Sorcerer #geayu and sheena were also both still there in that story too #so even though I was mistaken that he was there With Urlac #i think it's fair to keep him around...#especially if Urlac himself isn't there for much of the story #someone's gotta Direct Things #and be in charge of Reviving the Evil King #you know how it is!
