Happy Inktober Day 11~ Cruel
The scene unfolds from the end of a campaign I played in years ago. As the goddess Tiamat began to rise from a massive portal my halfling ranger, Nennawick Tabernacle, knew what had to be done. Her old grand pappie was a dragon hunter and so should she have been. To reseal Tiamat an innocent soul must plunge itself into the void. To save not only the realm, but her team, Nenna did what had to be done. Anbjorn, the cranky dwarven druid of the party, lost his only true friend. What a cruel fate to be suffered.
In a desperate attempt at saving her soul, Anbjorn placed it into the very acorn she always stole from his beard. He then planted the tree and urged it to grow, thus creating the Oakenenna.
