What if every time I open our old messages, you opened them too? Could we relive the same moments together once again?

Dean Lewis - Be Alright
You ever just look at old messages or something from a person and be like "I cannot believe I let you play me and waste my time like that" cause that shit hurts like a mf.
Trying to remembering who I am
I sometimes find myself scrolling through old messages with people I bo longer talk to, wondering why I stopped. And as I'm reading those words do not feel like me, they feels so foreign. Was I really that kind of person? Outgoing and so talkative? Am I still and I just suppress it? Can I be that person again? The kind of person that starts conversations without fear of if the other person even wants to talk. The kind of person that can actually tell people what I'm feeling on the inside. Or is that person dead and now I'm left with me, a shadow of that person. Someone who puts on a mask just to get through the days.
“Happiness is real and it exists. No matter how unreal and fake or bad life can make me feel.”
