From our glimpse into the ironborn political sphere in a ACOK, ADWD and especially AFFC, other than Victarion and Aeron, which notable lords tended to come across as actual supporters of the old way philosophy?
The ironborn are in sort of an interesting place. Dunstan Drumm is probably an Old Way supporter, but he really doesn't offer much in the way of policy positions regarding the war, instead long-windedly talking about his family's past glories. Lord Myre is half-and-half, some of his men go to Rodrik, others to Euron. Red Ralf Stonehouse supports Victarion, but he's not the head of House Stonehouse, all we know of his father is that he wears ragged sealskins. Maron Volmark is considered callow and young, but he doesn't have a regent and supports Victarion, likely he's an Old Way supporter. Gorold Goodbrother is a supporter of Victarion suggesting that he supports the Old Way (or at least continuing Balon's war), but later re-evaluates when looking at how little the gains were compared to the costs; Lord Gorold goes through the same realization as Asha. Remember that Asha was quite enthusiastic in the very beginning of the war but re-evaluates her support when looking at the reality of the matter.
Making matters worse, a lot of the Ironborn lords are people we hear of but know nothing. Donnor Saltcliffe and Alyn Orkwood are supporters of Euron Greyjoy, but they neither speak a word nor have a word spoken about them. Some ironborn lords, even those present at the kingsmoot, are relegated to appendix only entries, so we have no idea about their politics or ideology.
Thanks for the question, Anon.
