i am so fascinated by coruscant. like it’s unbelievable how interesting it is. obviously it must have a connection to the force since the jedi temple is on it, but i have a hard time believing that the planet originally had a strong presence in the force itself. what i think is that the people on the planet make it connected to the force. there are more than a trillion people, the force flowing and thriving through every sentient being on the planet. the amount of concentrated energy existing on the planet must’ve been why the jedi temple thrived so long in an environment so deeply devoid of nature and wildlife. it’s interesting, in a way, how most younglings were trained on coruscant without being connected to nature, since the force naturally exists in that.
see, what i think is that the force is so densely focused on the planet because of the overwhelming population that it resonated there as a viable place to create a temple despite the oddly unnatural conditions, such as the air quality and the overwhelming amount of technology. coruscant isn’t necessarily sentient but the force is so heavy there that trying to concentrate on a single thing can sometimes be difficult if you don’t shut everything else out. it’s a good place to train, basically, to try to shut out distractions and focus, but it’s also difficult. younglings probably get headaches all the time or stay up at night feverishly suffering at the hands of the force constantly feeding into their heads, pounding into them the overwhelming amount of energy on the planet.
since the force is so spread out, but not connected to the planet itself, rather the people, it’s hard to grasp onto the force in a singular way and focus on just one thing to put your mind at peace. no, you have to connect and connect and connect, over and over, to every sentient being, to get a piece of mind. maybe that’s why jedi are so good at being mediators, because they connect so much by default. and if they didn’t, they’d suffer.
