One in Three by Tess Stimson is a story about the terrible choices we make when we feel we’ve been wronged. Louise and Andrew divorced four years ago and have a friendly, co-parenting relationship. Caz is Andrew’s second wife and has a love/hate relationship with Louise. Louise and Caz’s relationship has been deteriorating- both are creating problems for the other. As Louise and Caz vie to prove to Andrew that the other is crazy, they realize that Andrew’s secrets and lies are far worse. At a famiy party, Andrew is murdered, both Louise and Caz are covered in his blood, but who is the killer? This was a fast, easy read, hot mess of a story, filled with lots of poor decisions.
