The District Development Model is in motion at Sekhukhune. It was humbling to see stakeholders pledging to make the model a success by contributing in the development of one plan and rationalization of budgets.A number of economic catalytic projects have been identified to form part of the one plan for the Sekhukhune District. These include the construction of a water distillery, farming projects, mining beneficiation, improvement of the road infrastructure and building of sporting facilities.The mines went further to commit funds in excess of R72 Million to refurbish the single lane Malekane Steel Bridge and build a dual lane bridge. The construction of the bridge will create job opportunities and facilitate economic activities in the area. We are looking forward to work with all stakeholders to grow the economy of Sekhukhune and improve service delivery. We took the opportunity to urge all in attendance to continue to adhere to all COVID-19 health protocols. One Star, One Wish, One Plan.. One group.

One Star- As a group we have been successful in leading the kids into completing their stories, and working together. Each one of us brings a unique element that mixes well when we lead our group in activities. We think our group has had the time to get to know the kids we work with. Not just in our group but everyone's group looks to have connected with their students. We now have the kids share how their day has been.We have connected to the kids in the little time we have known them.

One Wish- Our group still needs to improve on strictness when it comes to having everyone together, to be able to stop all side conversations. To have our whole group be more strict and not just one of us being the strict one when the group gets a little rowdy.

One Plan- we all work together as a group and feed off each other's strict rules, then the kids will see that we are not going to allow any misbehavior continue. As long as if we all stick to being firm on our actions and keeping what we are saying. Meaning that Valerie, Kimberly, and Ellie will all work together carrying out the rules, and as a whole implementing the rules we have established.
